Post by: GTALionKing on November 13, 2011, 08:09:16 AM
Hello, is there any way to convert a replay file into a video format? Or it there a program that can do this?

No... You either need a external recorder or on dolphin a screen recording program.. Replays can't be converted to video format..

Yup.. But you'll need to use another program to record off of it.. Like fraps or something else that records on pc...

You..... can't get a smaller ISO file. All Brawl ISOs are the same.

And don't get Fraps to record Dolphin, just set Dolphin to frame dump and sound dump and use a program to convert that into a video file. That way it won't be laggy no matter how bad your computer is and it'll be in HD.

Another way, if the ISO method isn't working for you, is to play the recording on your TV and just record it using screen capturing software like Pinnacle.

Although you know...... you can unpack the file while doing other stuff......

but then the internet has lag. there should be a program so you can capture videos off of a wii channel like homebrew. or a replay to video converter. looks like i will have to do this later in the year.

.... you can't convert replays to videos. How many times has this been asked?

Replays are merely a set of commands, not an actual video file.

But they're giving solutions how to.

But yea, I've seen this question a million times.

You could use FRAPS which is what I do, but, it makes the computer lag. I haven't tried the frame and sound dump. You should try that. And you could use something to record off the TV, but there isn't a software, its a device.
