Title: My Wii doesn't detect any hack/cheat?
Post by: DannyDirnt on November 14, 2011, 10:32:44 AM
My suddenly stopped playing hacks.I was putting on brawl and then my Wii froze for a while when I loaded the game in USB Loader GX,and then when I pressed A over the disk,it said it couldn't find any RSBE01.gct and started with no hacks. My Brawl is NTSC and I had run the game with hacks lots of times before.
WiiFlow loads the game with no hacks or cheats too.Anyways both loaders show my custom ASF1 CSS but like if I had no cheats.

I have tried both programs,cIOS 222 and 249 versions of WiiFlow,I have formated my SD again, eliminated the new hacks I had just put (Soneek's Hydreigon,Mewtwo over Lucario 1.01 and my Jigglypuff recolors) and loading many many times.I have downloaded the .gct from ASF1's topic once more but it didn't work and I have enabled the cheats I wanted my own with Ocarina Code Manager for PC but it didn't work anyways...

Try this .gct http://www.mediafire.com/?qbc8623wjjwjb6r
it has the file replacement code and the ASF1 CSS2 related codes i tested it and it worked (just to test if it works for you too). If it doesn´t work for you, check out the newest UsbloaderGX version
http://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/downloads/list?can=3&q=boot
(in the case you used an older version, or you used a completly different usbloader).
The new usbloaderGX and configurable usbloader also have a raise maximal code line limit which may also be your problem, since when you reache the limit no code will be read

hope this helps :)

None of this worked. It can be the loader because as I said I used two different loaders.Anyways the .gct didn't work so it may be something wrong but idk what!
Have you tried Gecko?

My disk is a backup (my original game is PAL)

Nah my SD does not have that,it's a micro SD with an adaptator...

Micro SD might be the problem. Try a regular SD.

If it's a Micro SD, is it like an Micro SDHC Card? If it's an Micro SDHC, it can't read cheats nor textures.

On the side of the Micro SD card, where it says "lock" push the thing upwards. if that doesn't work,  :-\ I don't know what else to say, it happened to me before.

It's not an sdhc. Please, read carefully my post. Those are tha facts we can get from what I have written till now:

1º It CAN'T be the loader (I've tried 2 different loaders)
2º It CAN'T be the .gct (I've tried 3 different ones)
3º It CAN'T be the SD (I had already loaded cheats and hacks from my micro SD)
4º It CAN'T be the ISO (I can load it but it's like if I had no .gct)

My Wii detects every file in my SD but the RSBE01.gct

Oh quite bad! If I can't make it read my hacks with that SD and that Wii I would most probably quit brawl hacking :'(

the only other thing that you could do is use a brawl ISO. i think at least.

If all else fails, switch to Riivolution, it helps me! But if you do, you'll have to change some things on your SDcard, like renaming some files, and maybe change directories of your files. WAIT! Maybe the files's dirrectories or names might be the problem! You see, both of those can be different for different hack loaders. Try looking-up on that.
