Title: How do you keep track of textures on your SD card?

^^Title

Personally, I use MNSG's Excel Texture Organizer. It's very nice and clean.

I use SuperJMN's Texturizer program. It has the name of the default character, the CSP, and the name of the texture. It also exports the textures directly to your SD card.

I just keep a text file in each folder that lists what textures + etc. that I have.

YEa, sometimes it's hard to remember all your character textures you have.

I just use the 'don't impulsively download every texture you see' app.

LOL
How about making a folder like Homebrew/TextureHacks/Protagnists/CharacterName/TextureName

and drop the texture in that folder.

Lmao it's that easy to keep clean ;D

I sort my textures by character name and by texture name.  Also, it helps when you use Microsoft Excel and make a table to keep track of your textures.

According to different capitalizations in the file name, i.e. FitZelda01, FITZelda02, FitZELDA03, etc, I just memorize which is which.

My friend made gave me an excel document for both music and textures. I refer to it whenever I want to switch something. For textures, I mostly refer to it for characters who don't have definite pallete swaps(Ice Climbers).

Yeah, but that doesn't help you know what the textures actually are (which color and what texture).

I used to use Numbers to make lists of my textures, but now I just use Spotlight Comments. SO much easier. (And no one here is going to know what the hell I'm talking about, because I'm the only texture hacker here who uses Mac. >_>)

I just remember them. I have all of my textures mapped to similar colors (like Red Link=Zero, etc.)

I do, however, have a .txt to remind what numbers correspond to what colors, but I have most of them memorized.

meh, I don't have much textures on my SD card so I can leave space for music. So it's easy for me to remember them. IMO, keeping track of music is way harder. >_>

I don't. :P

Most of the textures I have on my SD Card are from the original group download I got from when the first SD Loader version came out... <_<   >_>

(I do have recent textures, but only on my computer... Too lazy to update the SD Card.)

On the pc I have my textures in a folder and others thestures in a folder all name in ways that I can remember easily. Also I don't use sd loader. Usb loader ISOs ftw....and csps help a lot too...but I love the txt file and excell ideas even though excell seem a bit tedious. As for music I have the name of the file I replaced or am replacing and then the name of the song I'm putting in. So like D01 - Metroid Metal Brinstar or whatever it was.
