Alright this is now my third day trying to get Brawl- to work and I have no idea why I am having so much trouble with this. I was really hoping to find some help here. I hope this is the proper part to be posting about this. Here is my situation - I have a:
-Softmodded Wii
-External HDD 1TB
    -A copy of NTSC Brawl on my HDD
-A Micro SD card in an SD card reader
   -Brawl Minus files
      -gameconfig.txt
      -private folder
      -Downloaded Source: http://smashmods.com/forum/page/bmdownload.html
-Trying to install ASF1nk’s Black and Red CSS
   -I’ve installed Black and Red CSS
    -I’ve installed the needed code
   -The sc_selcharacter.pac is in F:/private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/menu2/ (I created a folder)
   -It’s also in sc_selcharacter.pac is in F:/private/wii/app/rsbe/pfmenu2 as I replaced the one that was in there.
    -I used the RSBE01.gct from “Contains everything Brawl Essential, Custom CSS Essential, Brawl Optional, Giga Bowser…”
   -The RSBE01.gct is in F:/Codes/RSBE01.gct
        -This is also on the SD Card
    -Downloaded Source: http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=6201.0
 -I’m using Configurable USB Loader
    -Cheats: on
    -Hooks: VBI
    -Fix anti 002: Yes
    -It detects the code and boots
-I also have Gecko, NeoGamma, USBGx Loader install but have not tried.
-I do not have a Brawl disc available to me (I’m at college left it back home).
-I have no character textures installed at this time.

My problem is this:
I load Brawl on Configurable USB Loader enable Cheats/Hooks/Fix Anti, it says it finds the cheat it boots perfectly (little slow) but no problems. I go to Group / Brawl and the character selection screen is modified, Shiek/The Pokemon/Zero Suit Samus is all selectable from the main screen. The controller bug is also in place. In game the shield also have the cosmetic change.

What I do not have is the Red and Black CSS with the rearranged characters, color, character portraits and everything else. I have no idea why I can’t figure it out.

The custom code appears to be working: was I supposed to splice it with the Brawl- code? What is Brawl- supposed to look like on boot?
