Well I am almost done making Sephiroth's Supernova move like Dissidia 012. All I need to do is fix the graphics and the victim's animation. When it is all done it will look really similar to this.

See that background as he is doing that move? Well I'm getting that fixed and once I do then I can put it all together. The only issues I'm having right now are the victim's animation and the psa stuff. It shouldn't take too much longer.  ;)

Is that going on an edit of DO's Sephiroth? Make sure you add it to Wolfric's updated version, the one with only Heaven's Light as an up B, and Octoslash's up taunt charge taking three seconds...

If you can do that... Man, that sounds badass.

@ _Data_Drain_  - Unfortunately no, this will be an entirely new PSA. I was trying to port it over Link so that I can have more possibilities to work with, but when I tried it in Brawl it was too messed up. So then I tried porting him to Metaknight, and that's not working to well either. Next I'm going to try to port him over Pit to see if that will help.

Aww... I have Goku over Pit and Bardock on Captain Falcon... I'll get Sephiroth!

Right now I have him over Metaknight, but I'm having problems with the graphics. I can attach it to his bones but it ends up being slanted or just jump around. I set the file up so that Brawl reads where his TransN, XRotN, YRotN, HipN, and ThrowN bones, yet it doesn't work properly. Also the Halberd laser graphic won't even show.

I've just imported Sephiroth over Fox and (so far) it is glitch-free!!! I don't have that moving graphic issue anymore!!!!

Also this is what I had planned for Sephiroth
1:He will be fast and able to rack up damage quickly, but only have a few moves that can actually kill
2:His psa won't be based just from Dissidia 012, I also have some moves that I want to use from FF7 Advent Children and Kingdom hearts 2
3:He will have a critical hit system, each hit box will have a small chance to do extra damage and if the last hit box is a critical hit, it will have a higher chance of a kill blow
4:In his EX mode new and stronger moves will be available, but it will use up some of his EX, like Heartless Angel and.......a move that will be from Kingdom Hearts 2. Also while he is in his EX, he will have a higher critical hit ratio for all of his moves, but it will use up his EX as well.
5:Most of his moves will only combo if there is a hit, and it will act like Dissidia you can delay the combo for more damage, or quickly tap the button and use the rest of the move(s). But if you miss your chance you can't interrupt him until the animation is over.

This is the progress with the animations
Wait Just 1 frame for now
Slow Walk100%
Middle Walk 100%
Fast Walk 100%
Run 90%
God Speed 100%
Oblivion 100%
Heartless Angel 100%

There are others I made, but don't know their names  ;D

And that's about it so far.

I honestly don't think making Sephiroth fast would be a good idea at all.  Look at DO's Sephiroth for an example of how to get the balance pretty much correct.  He's not fast at all.  He's by nature a character designed to control space because of how crazy long his sword is.  One has to be quite patient and clever with how they use him, and as a result he generally feels more rewarding.

However, I'll let Data_Drain and Albafika be better judges of that, since they were the ones following DO's Sephiroth's development so closely and gave constant feedback on it

Yeah.

You should base the coding off of DO's version... But, ask Wolfric about some changes... Or Albafika as his current screen name says.

I'm pretty sure he had a few more ideas.

@ Robby98 - Well I've just completed more of his animations like Black Materia and Octa-slash. I also want to make an Octa-slash that does 8 slashes like in KH2, I'll make usable only in his EX. At the rate I'm going it could take up to a week to get all the animations done, but then there are the animations that need to be fixed like the damage, cliff grab, sleep/dizzy, which can take a while as well.

Also I need a small favor, it has to do with his sword. I managed to put it on his lefthaveN bone. The only problem was that I had to rotate it 180 and increased the size a little to match the length of his sword. And because I did that it's caused some issues when I need to rotate it. Would someone be willing to fix it for me before I make anymore animations? I would really appreciate it.

That looks amazing! It looks very close to his EX Burst. Also, where did you get the Sephiroth model/texture? I WANT IT! *O*

That Sephiroth needs some rig updates, especially the coat and the shoulder pads.. Transparency on the hair needs to be fixed too..

But all is looking great BBB, all is looking just great. Loving that Supernova.

Also I have an a quick announcement, Washington State has received a blessing from mother nature, snow. Peoples lights are going out and mine might be next so if I don't respond tomorrow at all that would mean that I lost power as well. It can go out any second so I just wanted to pose this.

Anyways I've completed Scintilla and it looks pretty close to the animation from Dissidia 021  and 1 other I don't know the name of.....  Also I revamped his entry as well.

Hey everybody I managed to complete many more animations thanks to Anivernage. I even found a perfect graphic for when he jabs his sword into the ground with Hells Gate.

Also when you let go of the b button as he is falling he will do what he does in Dissidia

Also what has really been taking a long time is the amount of custom animations I will need to do for Sephiroth. I will need to fix a lot of animations. like for instance his damage animations, item grab/ throw, the edge grab/jump/attack animations, his sleep/slip animations, and so on. That's what I've mainly been editing. Thankfully Link is a pretty good base.

Um... About that letting go of the B button thing... Does that put him into a free fall? Or at least make it to where he can't use any more B button moves? If not... That will easily be a stall move, and I mean a broken stall move.

Since he could in a timed match just go under the stage, and spam that over and over again...

Also, can you try to port Sephiroth over Marth? I already have Sora over Pit.

I also agree here, but not because I have Sora, I have Waluigi instead.

Never the less though. Some people would kinda like to fight Sephiroth as Sora I would bet... Or fight Sephiroth as Tifa...

I'm getting VERY tired of this "trend", of making every new PSA over Pit... And the thing here is, I don't see what you're using FROM Pit's coding in this move set... Wouldn't Link, or Toon Link, or... Pretty much anyone else work about as good?

Still, better then over Pit.

And as a bonus, if this Sephiroth is TRULY better then DO's version. Then I can free up my Yoshi slot, AND have glitch free battles between Marth, or Roy, VS Sephiroth. :P

(And I will make SURE to give feedback to balance him out. If he's not balanced...)
