Title: Something's wrong with the G-diffuser... Post by: Alphatron on November 15, 2009, 05:23:57 PM I must apologize for posting yet ANOTHER topic about my CSP troubles, and Shadow and everyone else has been really helpful so far, but my problems persist.
Using smash/brawlbox to replace CSPs, I've always extrated the CSP I wanted to replace from the common5.pac, edited it in photoshop, and then replaced it after saving. I want to know if this is even necessary. Basically, can I make a custom CSP from scratch with the same 128 x 160 borders, indexed color format, and same amount of colors as the CSP I wish to replace? Would the game work without it freezing? I would honestly try this myself but the Wii is currently out of the question for me... Title: Re: Something's wrong with the G-diffuser... Title: Re: Something's wrong with the G-diffuser... Post by: Alphatron on November 15, 2009, 05:43:10 PM My question is if I need to export and edit a CSP already in the common5. Basically, I want to know if I can make my own from scratch and just throw it in there.

Post by: Hakumen on November 15, 2009, 05:47:34 PM You can make your own from scratch. Mostly everyone does it that way, hell, even I still make my own from scratch.
Title: Re: Something's wrong with the G-diffuser... Post by: Alphatron on November 15, 2009, 05:50:58 PM I guess I should be thankful. :falco:
But seriously, I am. I feel really stupid because doing this always nerfed the quality of my original images and gave me freezing issues. Also, it's why I kept getting grayscale with Kirby and Dedede. Thanks alot, both of you. Title: Re: Something's wrong with the G-diffuser...
