ok so the wii started freezing for no reason right after i click launch on riivo at first i thoguht it was the way i was exporting the gct but that wasnt it then i thought it was the stage expansion pack and its codes but that wasnt it then i tried something else(forgot what) but that wasnt it and then i played vBrawl and my little brother kicked my butt so im a little mad and i want to know why it keeps freezing so PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

What do you mean by vBrawl? Also i think I know what you did wrong

You probably chaged the VI setting, are you using beyond's riivoltuion XML?

no im using a diffrent one with different settings it like i put a setting on "classic expansion pack(brawl)" it will freeze after i press launch but if i put it on "disable" it will load the stuff but not the codes or music or css/sss/mu_menumain_en and the stages also wont load

yah but that is just for when your folder structer is privatewii/app/rsbX/ blah blah blah so its not gonna help but i'll try anyway thnx and i'll let you know if i does work

no im using ASF1nk's strap and it works if i disable the thingamajig

ps: ricky lee still havent tried beyonds riivo yet becuase my little brother and his friend are playing the wii but i will try it

Hmm. Do you have an Opening movie? If so rename it something Like "Test Opening.thp" Maybe thats the problem. I had this same problem & I just took my opening off & it worked. (Had to find a new opening tho :-\ )

If no Opening... What do you have so far on your card? Expesealy things that are loaded (usualy if you skip the opening) in about 5mins?

-stage texture,
-stage imports,
-stage models,
-.rel's for the need character,
-music,
-custom strap menu,
and thats it :)

I know you may not like this but (this is what I do when this happens & it helps me figgure out what file is messing up):
1st start with the Strap menu then follow the list in this Spoiler to rename them 1 at a time (yes it's time consuming but it's well worth it if you want your hacks)



However 1st try removing the sc_selcharacter_en.pac file cuz I don't use one I just use common5.pac for all my CSS & SSS needs/wants & it works just fine!

Yeah! I've got Music, SFX (from the vault), Models, Even a Strap Menu & Opening! I just can't figgure out how to hack the Trophies & stickers & Coin Launcher. + SSE is on & off for me. It works just fine exept 1 or 2 things happens.

PS: The Common5.pac takes the place of the SelCharacter.pac & SelMap.pac so just rename them both to something that doesen't even have any name simaler to something for brawl. In the Spoiler is Ideas that I use. You don't have to use these they are just if your lazy. :D

Why then? Let me guess 1st tho. It's that he has the Selcharecter.pac & SelMap.pac as well as the Common5.pac?

he has "_en" he's suppose to remove that!

Hmm. Maybe it's both of our solutions... cuz my common5.pac file is not common5_en.pac it's just comon5.pac just like that too.

I use Beyond's riivo and I have _en on my selchar selmap and common

yah i aways have the _en but i will try to take it off and seee what happens

its on the root of my sd card

Try putting it in the Riivolution folder in the Root of your SD. That could work.
