Title: Applying physics to polygons

When I was animating Ike I found that his cape and bandana are affected by Brawls Physics and r not animated at all. When he rises his feet r affected as well. Could we apply physics to certain polygons when we make new models or even apply them to existing models?

I don't see why not would just have to find the right coding or trigger
