Did you ever played American McGee's Alice? Well, it's a PC game that came out around year 2000.
It was a pretty dark and incredible vision of the old Alice story full of morbid character designs, blood, death, spooky and great music... It is a great game, and a sequel is being made.
Well, I decided to make a texture based on the Chesire cat of that game and here it is.

Just as I was learning how Pikachu's texture files worked, I thought that Pikachu and Kirby are very similar as to how much you can edit them. Practically you can edit how the the face, mouth and a few other things look...
So, I decided to use the ball kirby pre-hexed file to make this quick texture for the Kirby brawlers that want to scare the sh*t out of their friends with a creepy kirby look.

"Dial M for Monkey"
Back in the 90's, Gendy Tartakovsky managed to get his shows in cartoon network. One of the most popular was Dexter's Lab. From that cartoon some other minor series appeared in the show as small segments. My favorite was the story about a monkey that Dexter altered without knowing and transformed into a superhero... Dial M for Monkey.
As you can see, I made my own version of the character but keeping the essential elements of the original like the M on his forehead, the M in the belt, the yellow part in his tail and the yellow gloves.
For the ones wondering, the guy in his rocket pack is the commander that only appeared in tv's and is a parody of Nick Fury. The world symbol in Monkey's back is the logo of the association he works on and is a parody of S.H.I.E.L.D.

What if there was at least one male sheikah remaining? Through the Zelda games the sheikah appear few times, in Ocarina of Time there's Impa and Sheik and we are told that the sheikah have disappeared. In Twilight Princess we see the old sheikah village and meet an old lady who appears to be the last of her tribe.
We have never seen a male sheikah or even more sheikah... that's why I wanted to make this.
Note that this texture isn't meant to look exactly like Sheik, but rather like a sheikah clothing for Link.

I think Dry Bowser's first appearance was in New Super Mario Bros. for the DS, then he appeared in Mario Kart Wii and in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.
His popularity grew and people made some Dry Bowser textures, but sincerely I never liked them because the main body part was plain white and when you do that... the color in-game looks like eye rape.
So, this one has a more grayish and yellowish tone and bone cracks over the body, I based it upon the Mario Kart artwork and gave him some additional things.

I once thought about the similarity of the name of Falco and Captain Falcon... and for some strange reason started to think how Falco would look like if he was Captain Falcon. And that's it, that was the reason of making this texture and nothing more.

Bayonetta = Dante + being a woman + full sexiness + being a witch + pole dancing + demonic summons.
Samus was THE ONLY choice to make this texture. The hair, the body, the moves, and the paralyzer gun that transforms into a whip made her the perfect candidate.
This was actually my second texture ever made, but I'm posting it until now because I fixed some things, tried some others (and failed some) and also made a custom brstm with loop to make it a complete combo for all of you.

With all of the vertex editing craze that has been around I decided to finally make Sheikah Link as I originally wanted him to be.
I used LookItsLink's vertex edited pac that is strapless and without belt pouches, then I modified the shield so that it looks more like the Mask of Truth from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and finally edited the sword a little so that it doesn't look like the master sword.

The concept, the art, the characters, the story, the environment, the music... all of these made Amercian McGee's Alice such an interesting game. First I made Chesire, now here's Alice.
During the game there was a powerup that transformed Alice into a devilish stronger Alice with scary eyes, more bloody, with horns and red skin, I decided to make y version of that Alice and renamed it as "Slutty Devil Alice".

At first I wanted to make a Ganondorf texture that made him look like the badass he is, but I had no idea how to do that. His facial structure always seemed similar to a skull to me, so I decided to make a warrior with a skull instead of head. As this Ganondorf progressed I thought maybe a Ganon-zombie-skull head warrior with spiky armor would be more fitting.
In the end I decided to make a representation of death and grim reapers with spiky armor.
Vertex edited the armor, fingers, head, face and a little bit of the body.
I left the hair and beard almost intact because I like it.

Yeah, I know...
In fact, the first version of Dry Koopa had white instead of red in the eyebrows, but even tough I tried my best to make it look like it didn't have eyebrows at all, the red ones looked better and that's why it has those red eyebrows.
Also, I have never used brawlbox, so... I don´t know if the eyebrows can be removed. But I suppose they are part of the main model, therefore, removing them might make bowser look bad.
Also, for the ones wondering about the competition akari and wii commented about, go check out DasDonkey, they are holding a texture competition, I submitted a texture :).
And I also can't wait for the competition XD

that dry bowser does look nice but dam i dont kno who that zamus texture is, but that is the nicest zamus texture i have seen. so dam detailed, the glasses look real, her back looks sexy and perfectly detailed, and idk shes just too dam good lookin lol gonna have to remove one of my zamus textures cause shes full but its deff worth it.

Yep, the problem is it gets mirrored.
I'm working on the finishing touches in Bayonetta (that damn paralyzer), so, if I can't figure out how to avoid the mole from reflecting on the other side of the face... I will leave the texture like that, without mole.
And don't worry guys, I will make public those two textures sooner or later.

You mentioned about doing an Alice texture. One does exist, which is based off the Walt Disney character. However, considering that your last texture is from a highly graphical game, your version probably will freak the s*** off of anyone.

An announcement for all the people who downloaded the Chesire Rat texture:
There was a mistake with Pikachu's final smash eyes... since I don't play with items, I never checked how the texture looked when grabbing the smash ball, but someone notified me and I fixed the final smash eyes.
The download link to the Chesire Rat texture has been updated with the fixed version, so you might want to download the texture again.
Also, the minor update I told you about was added to the first post, in case anyone is interested.

If you're using Photoshop CS3 or CS4, create a new Alpha Layer and fill that layer with black for the transparent areas, and white for the areas that you want visible. The making transparent method is for Gimp I suppose, I use Photoshop CS2 and the alpha layer method, which works fine.
Also, Bayonetta was made by the former Cloverfield Studios team that used to work at Capcom... and overall it has gotten very good critics.
I'm currently working on my 4th texture, the download will be up during the coming week.

In DasDonkey there's a pack with the 4 textures from the competition.
But, the Dry Koopa download link that I posted here has a fixed "problem" with the eyelids.
It's not something really that noticeable or important, but I would suggest downloading the texture from this thread.

Well, at first I just wanted to get in the competition... then I wanted to win and become part of DasDonkey.
And now I'm just going through difficult things in my personal life that will keep me busy, but meh.... that's my problem.
Also, DasDonkey has several members, and at least Akari and Wii will maintain the blog with updates even if it takes me some time to get textures done.
And DD rules! I like being part of the team I consider the best.
And yeah stallion, you'll have to wait like a month or so to get Bayonetta.

I'm not really slacking off...
The thing is I have a serious virus problem with my pc. I'm working to solve it so that I can use programs and files properly.
I have 2 textures ready, but I haven't released them 'cause I am going to vertex edit them, but then again... that's until I fix my pc. :>.>palm:

use the powerfull kaspersky, or G data, use the trial for kill all that viruses, after, you can buy it ^^
The problem was that there wasn't a single anti-virus that could get rid of it...
I had to format the hard disks, well... at least I keep making security copies from time to time, so I have every important file backed up.
It took quite some time to restore my programs and files so now I have quite a lot of homework to do... but as soon as I finish homework I'll work in the vertex editing...
So you'll have to wait until the edited vertex version, I'm not planing on releasing the textures alone.

Well, it actually was a really cool hood that looked great in brawlbox... but it caused graphical glitches in-game, so I had to get rid of it and I left it as a spike-shaped part of his armor.
The spike is one of the things I like most about the texture (that and, y'know the skull and the fingers and everything else lol) Any chance of hints on what these other 2 are going to be?
Are you ever going to put up a download for that Alice texture hack you made on Zelda?
You will probably win my tourney with that.

Nice mob stuff! And your like the only person around here other than me that likes madworld as far as i know.
Despite being short in length, Madworld is without a doubt one of the most entertaining and cool games that I've played in the last years.
And yeah... American McGee's Alice is one of those games that many people heard about in its time but nowadays few people know about it.
A sequel is coming to the PS3 and 360... so I suppose Alice will get popular soon.

Vertex was finished a long time ago... texture still needs more work, but I'm busy with college, so people will have to wait.
