Title: I need some help with PAT0 editing to change some stage franchise icons.

I understand how PAT0 works in general, that each texture in MiscData[80] (where I'm currently working on) is assigned a certain index number, and that number corresponds to a specific stage (i.e. MenSelchrMark.20 is the SSB logo icon that goes over BF and FD). What I'm trying to do is change the MenSelchr and MenSelmap marks for some stages, but every time I try to change one icon to another (such as changing one Mario icon from MenSelchrMark.01 to MenSelchrMark.02, the DK icon), it screws up the order of everything when I save it and open it back up i BrawlBox. In game, everything is jumbled up, and looks like a huge mess.  I've tried different ways of doing this, but the best luck I've had so far was creating the PAT0 entry I want in a seperate window, exporting it and replacing it over the one I want, but for some reason it changes the number (i.e. I exported MenSelchrMark.01 and when I replaced it, it became MenSelchrMark.06).  When I saved it and opened it back up, it didn't change the order of anything else, but it's not the right number I want.

How do I go about fixing this? I've looked all around the internet, and I can't find anything that helps me. Not even a simple tutorial.  :srs:

If you are using one of the newest Brawlbox versions, try with Brawlbox v0.63d.
The recent versions of Brawlbox have issues when you are trying to replace something in the CSS or SSS.

I'm using both v0.63d Modset4.2 and v0.66b.  No luck with either.

Alright, I managed to finally make some progress and change some of the PAT0 entries without screwing everything else up.  I can change an existing PAT0 entry to a different icon (Mario to Zelda for example).  But when I try change the PAT0 entry and use a texture I added that wasn't originally inside of the .pac file to begin with, it says "Unknown File" for some reason.  Then when I save it and open it back up, BrawlBox closes. Does anybody know how I can get BrawlBox to recognize them?
