Title: Character Select Portraits not working for me? Post by: ZinkImp on June 21, 2012, 09:11:59 PM (Please excuse me if this is the wrong forum)
Hi! I'm relatively new to modding Brawl and I've done some character textures and stage textures. However, I want to change the portraits that appear on the character select screen so that if fits with my textures (I know how to make them, thanks to my past experiences with Photoshop.) I've basically followed and read through every tutorial out there, yet I still cannot get it to work! It's driving me bonkers!!! Here's what I'm doing: - I make my portrait 128x160 and save it - I go into BrawlBox and open a regular sc_selcharacter.pac file. - I replace the current default portrait with the new one and save. - I save it and put the file into my menu2 folder located in pf, which is located in RSBE, which is located in app, located in wii, located in private. - Put her in my Wii and a start up Brawl using Riivolution (is this the problem?) - The portraits are still the same default, yet my character and stage textures are still there. Is there a certain code I need for this? Here are the codes I use: There must be something that is amiss! I just don't know!! I await a reply. Thank you very much in advance! Try putting your CSP's in common5.pac. (Common5.pac goes in pf>system) Also you don't need the CSS fix code UNLESS you're using a CSS hack where CSS icons are moved. It's really stumping me :/ I followed everything step by step. So strange. There must be something wrong... Also I just thought I'd post the stuff about the CSS code because I thought it wouldn't hurt. My custom CSS isn't working either (but I'll get to that another day.) Is there anything else I can do? |
