Title: Questions about hacking Post by: GreatKingBowserKoopa on June 23, 2012, 04:55:57 PM Hi, I'm familiar with hacking SSBB, but there are some questions I'd like to ask. I know some common things like using texture and model hacks, but I have some questions.
I use Riivolution. First, how can you do things like save snapshots to the SD card while doing hacks? It says "please insert an SD card" when I use hacks. Second, how can I add characters to the character select? For example, there is a moveset hack (Waluigi over Diddy Kong), but I want to keep Diddy Kong AND have Waluigi at the same time. I've seen in some videos where there's 2 Marios and 2 Captain Falcons on the CSS and they pick the 2nd Captain Falcon just to use the new character. Riivolution won't save snapshots to SD card you either have to take snapshots in Gecko OS or save snapshot to wii then load brawl without hacks and save move snapshot from wii to SD card.
2. In the video,there are two marios and two captain falcons because one is an Alloy, and one is regular captain falcon/mario. Okay but how can I use a character who goes over Diddy Kong, but goes in a separate character slot? For example, you can have Waluigi who goes over Diddy Kong, and a regular unmodified Diddy Kong on the same CSS. Is this possible, or only with alloys? I think there's a code that adds about 9 stages to the Melee stages section, but you have to use .rel files. I've been trying this for a long time, but it always causes the game to freeze.
