Insert this code with GCT Edit into your RSBE_01.gct:
Lvl 16 CPUs
C2693A70 00000002
3880000F 909E01D4
60000000 00000000

I honestly have much more fun playing against CPUs now.
So what's the difference? Do the CPUs stop going after you instead of each other? Is it harder going against them?
I've used this for a while and they are a lot more fun to play against than level 9s.

They aren't as stupid.
I've noticed they have better evasive skills and are more aggressive in combat.
Thanks to AdfroMan for posting the code on this forum on a thread around earlier this month.

This, but I only started using it last weekend.
Everyone should definitely have this code on if you play against CPUs.
I wasn't able to put this code into GCTEdit. This, However, worked:
C2693A70 00000002
38800017 909E01D4
60000000 00000000
i use this and its awesome
I must try this :kdance:
They are significantly harder, I still beat them though. They often use cheap shots and spam projectiles.
Hey can u tell me how to use it? becuase when i select the character and I select the Al theres appaers a cero and when i click on it theres the normal 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 /: Can someone tell me how to use it??
If you have the code on then the CPU level will be an infinity symbol by default which stands for lvl16.
Do these CPUs learn like the Level 9s?
I also made a video...
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
This code ROCKS MY SOCKS.
Will this work with the single bot codes as well?
I don't like fighting level 9s, not because they're hard, but they're cheap shots that go after characters with the higher percent. I'd like to know what's the actual changes in it.
i use this and is work. thanks
Nobody has yet to answer the question of how they are in "3-4 player free-for-alls" Do they still focus primarily on you?
Will this improve the Project M AI too? Or is this strictly for vBrawl?
There are better ways to improve AI now.

Yes CPUs will still be forced to focus on Human players and ignore each other in FFA and 2 on 2 situations.

Such as?
Such as cracking open the AI files in the motion file and editing them. I should warn you that it's not for the weak. There's a program that does that and opens up the syntax and lets you edit them, but the links and threads were on smashboards..... which is down for the count, so I cannot give you a link.
That sounds a lot more complicated than just using a code. I'll stick with this.

The links to AIScriptPad are all dead. If I can find it in my PC archives, I can reupload it for anyone who wants it....
I know for a fact that I do not have it, sorry. I don't know if it was updated at all either.
@NaOH
I saw your thread for the first time. I'm very glad to see that many people were interested in AI coding.
I updated AIScriptpad recently. This is the support thread:http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=62818.0
By the way, I'm afraid to say but the code doesn't make CPU smart.
CPU's behavior is defined in AIMain scripts which are shared among all the levels.
Level value is used like this : Some moves are disabled in low levels and level 9 unlocks all the moves. Also, AIMain scripts are adjusted to work best at level 9.
When someone makes smarter CPUs with your program then I'll use that instead of this code.
I'm looking forward to it too:)
By the way, CPU doesn't learn players' behavior.
In AIMain and ASM code, such part doesn't exist. Indeed, CPU spams one action in certain situations, which is often taken advantage of by players.
What hooktype do you need in order to run this code with gecko os? I use codes primarily with the OSSleepThread hooktype.
I can't help but notice this code is a year old, and I hear from certain people that this code actually DOESN'T give CPUs there absolute "max" potential.
Is there an updated code or is this my best bet for now?
I absolutely love this code by the way, it's incredible. I still beat CPUs, but it's WAY more challenging.
