Title: One-slot size mod in Project M
Post by: Raio37 on November 01, 2012, 08:08:57 AM
Hi! I'm new to this site and modding in general. I'm aware this topic has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything more specific.

To start out, I was hoping to learn how to resize character models. I downloaded Treecko for Luigi, and Riolu for Lucario. Treecko shows up pretty oversized. While Riolu's dowload comes with a resize fit_motionetc. file, I'd rather not use it over Project M's version of it so I won't lose the moveset and animations.

I followed Nanobuds tutorial using a one-slot method on how to resize the bones without replacing the fit_motionetc. file. The character's ARE resized to my liking. However, the animations don't work in-game. Running and walking animations just loop in place (takes a few steps and reverts to original position) and other animations just go wonky.

I figured this mod is similar to how Nanobuds Reshiram works, but in that case Reshiram is larger than Charizard. Does decreasing the bone size affect the animations? What's my problem here?

Any help is appreciated!
