Title: Tutorial for actually creating a texture? Post by: DocStrange on January 22, 2010, 05:35:07 PM OK, so I'm finally trying my hand at actually making a texture, but I'm a complete noob at image editing software (my experience pretty much ends at making CSPs) so I was wondering if there were any good tutorials out there on how to use image editing software (preferably Gimp) gimp for editing textures (what methods/tools are useful, etc.) I realize it's a weird request, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding tutorials that are relevant to editing Brawl textures, so any help would be great. (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=1151.0) It's for Photoshop, but you should be able to apply it to GIMP. As far as getting acquainted with the software, just screw around and see what looks nice. ;)
