Title: Quick question about starting up hacks on Wii U
Post by: smbmaster99 on January 29, 2013, 10:30:46 PM
Hey, I've used an SD card to hack Brawl, initializing the hack codes and all that by going to the stage builder (It's been a while, so I don't remember if there's a certain term for this method of hacking). My question is, will this still work on the Wii U? I haven't yet cuz I've read that Wii games for whatever reason won't play on the Wii after they've been used on the Wii U, and too afraid to test it out, regrettably XP

If anyone's been able to confirm this works, would you mind letting me know? Thanks in advance C:

Sorry for the bump, but doesn't anyone know if they work?

Where ever you heard that they dont work after being used on teh wii, that person is wrong

They work fine. you need to use the same way that you use now. it works fine

That is referred to as the StackSmash method.
If your Wii U is up to date, the stack smash method is the most viable way to hack the Wii U.
