Title: Not really a hack problem, but similar. Post by: JBG on March 15, 2013, 01:31:06 PM So I know a lot of people have probably been asking around about getting Brawl mods into Gmod. Honestly, I am too.
My main issue is that there aren't any good Zelda models out there, and the one or two I have are just...bleh. The official Twilight Princess Zelda has something wrong with her maps or something and she appears dark even in the sunniest of maps. Does anyone think they can rig up a Zelda ragdoll for me? And if not, could you at least point me to a tutorial so I could try and do it myself? Title: Re: Not really a hack problem, but similar. Title: Re: Not really a hack problem, but similar. Post by: JBG on March 15, 2013, 03:41:38 PM I don't think so. And I've also discovered that I haven't the attention span for this.
Normally when the .DAE or whatnot is imported into max, the rig is lost. Title: Re: Not really a hack problem, but similar. Post by: JBG on April 07, 2013, 12:02:55 PM Right, I know this is probably necroposting and jazz, but the problem has kind of just reared it's ugly head again. I may have ported the brawl textures to the TP model, but that doesn't solve some of the problems, like the overall lower resolution, the iffy rigging with the legs, the fact that she actually has no legs, and that the face rigging is a little shonky (especially in the regards that the mouth won't open, which limits expressions drastically).
If anyone knows how to preserve the existing rig, or has a Zelda rigged up to her normal skeleton already please let me know. There needs to be a better Zelda model for Gmod. If you export her as a .dae she is exported with her skeleton. Just rig the model to that. If you don't know how to rig a model check my thread, http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=45344.0 (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=45344.0) |
