Title: Smash Attacks questions Post by: Staralicious (Gonzales) on May 13, 2013, 06:57:15 PM Okay. I have been seeing some fancy PSAs and movesets before signing up for this site. And I notice that most or all of them have very cool specials (final smashes) that looks like it has been changed. So how do you alter one character's final smash? I tried to do it, but that didn't work out well.
Another question. I notice that some PSAs have 2 movesets in one character. For example. In a character's normal state, he/she will have the moves the creator gave that character. But when he/she get his/her final smash or taunts or whatever, he/she has a different or more powerful moveset. How do you make something like that? I really want to do that for my PSA I am creating Title: Re: Smash Attacks questions Post by: ABloodyCanadian on May 13, 2013, 08:15:59 PM 1). Depends on what you want the Final Smash to do. You need to be more specific.
2). The use of certain Variables (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=33121.0). Title: Re: Smash Attacks questions Post by: Staralicious (Gonzales) on May 14, 2013, 03:27:35 PM Thanks! That answered my second question. And for the final smash, I want it to be like Marth's final smash when he dashes towards the opponent and instantly kills him with a slash
Title: Re: Smash Attacks questions Post by: ABloodyCanadian on May 14, 2013, 04:02:48 PM Based on that answer, you sound like you are familiar with Smash Attacks. For this, you'll need about 4, maybe 6 SubActions (4 Actions). 1 (or 2) for the start, one for the charge, one (or 2) if the attack misses, and 1 (or 2) for when the attack hits. I could go into more detail, but that would take too long. I have a tutorial about making Special Attacks. That should help you with what you're doing. Look for it in the A/A Tutorials.
