Hi, I'm attempting to hack my Wii for the first time. I have the Homebrew channel installed already, and from what I understand, I need to install something called "Riivolution" on my Wii before I can use the hacks I've downloaded. I've looked all over Youtube and Google and there are so many different sets of instructions and none of them seem to work. I just want to play as other characters like Banjo-Kazooie or some Anime characters. I'm not very good at this sort of thing, so if anyone could give me some guidance or provide a reliable link that will help me out, I'd really appreciate it.
You know, there's also Gecko OS. It does not have the novelty of SFX hacking, but it still works.
Is one better than the other? All the youtube videos I looked at talked about Riivolution.
