Title: Need help with fixing normals and adding shiny materials to an import. Post by: Blazingflare on May 27, 2013, 01:46:37 PM I have tried multiple times on 2 different versions of 3ds Max to add shaders/normals to my luigi import. Each time I try to export the fixed model from 3ds Max, it throws out an error saying that it wasn't able to keep the shaders/normals. I was wondering if someone could do it for me or tell me what I did wrong.
I followed This (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=51925.0) tutorial btw. Also, each time I tried to add shiny materials to Luigi's gloves and armor, it would mess up in game and turn a shiny green instead of just becoming shiny. I followed both of these tutorials and the result was pretty much the same. [Video] Adding Spec Maps to your models!! The other three are my attemps to make the model shiny. |
