Title: Making All Colors One Character ? Post by: teh lootz on June 21, 2013, 12:53:23 PM Hey guys !
I want to know how I can make all the characters colors one character. What I mean by this is, I have a custom character w/ custom attacks & animations, I want him to be on all of the one characters colors. He is currently only on one but I want him to be on all that way when you choose a different color it's still the custom character. I want to know how to do this because since it is currently only in one character color slot if someone chooses a different color it becomes the default character with the custom characters moves which is a bit annoying. Thanks in advanced guys ! :D Title: Re: Making All Colors One Character ? Post by: Renova on June 21, 2013, 01:55:46 PM Just find the pcs and pack you want. Copy it and rename it.
Example FitLuigi00 is the color you like. Copy it and name it to FitLuigi01 FitLuigi02 ect. until you replace all of the textures in the folder with the one you want. Alright so I just grab the custom characters .pcs and .pac and rename all of them to all the colors like 00 01 02 etc. and they all become that one character ?Example FitLuigi00 is the color you like. Copy it and name it to FitLuigi01 FitLuigi02 ect. until you replace all of the textures in the folder with the one you want. Title: Re: Making All Colors One Character ? Title: Re: Making All Colors One Character ? Post by: teh lootz on June 21, 2013, 04:54:07 PM but you can't have custom attacks (PSAs) for individual slots for each character. 1 psa per character. Yeah, what I meant was that one custom character's moves for all the colors that way when I played as a different color it wouldn't be the original character with the custom moves. Thanks for the info btw ! What I meant was that I wanted one character to all be the same custom character color because since my custom character is only in 00 I wanted him to be in the rest (01,02,etc) but when I choose 01 it becomes the normal character with the custom characters movesets. To have one single outfit appear regardless of the color chosen CAN be done.
Just download the texture (costume) you want, and name the fitpac and fitpcs. Here's an example. Normally bowser comes in 5 colors 00-Original 01-Red 03-Blue 04-Black 05-Pimp Gold/White 06-Brown If you were to look at the original Bowser files they would say FitBowser00.pac FitBowser00.pcs FitBowser01.pac FitBowser01.pcs FitBowser02.pac FitBowser02.pcs FitBowser03.pac FitBowser03.pcs FitBowser04.pac FitBowser04.pcs FitBowser05.pac FitBowser05.pcs Now say you downloaded a cool costume over bowser and wanted every one of his colors to be that same costume. Well.. Your costume would probably already be named FitBowser00.pac FitBowser00.pcs Now what you would do is copy those files and change the lasts 2 #'s to overwrite the other color options so that the only option is that one costume. That was a thorough explanation but, w/e. Title: Re: Making All Colors One Character ?
