Title: Question regarding freezing. Post by: 123456789 on July 04, 2009, 09:50:10 PM Well, I've been downloading textures for characters and testing them to make sure I don't screw anything up, but as I've done it, it's froze on me on the results screen twice already (1st birdy vs henzo; 2nd alien kirby vs zombie bowser)
Anyway, the textures themself worked fine, and I redid the fights and results were fine the 2nd time, so I was wondering, what's causing it to freeze occasionally? Title: Re: Question regarding freezing. Post by: Hakumen on July 04, 2009, 10:02:58 PM It's probably your card. It might be dying.

Current codes I'm using while testing is the custom character select, and the fixes so that doesn't crash, and obviously the file replacement 2.1a.I always safely remove it except like 2 or 3 times. That's been crashing me frequently before the slect screen loads, and right after the Results screen.

Well, it's not very frequent, so it's not THAT big of a deal to me. :PTitle: Re: Question regarding freezing. Post by: Hakumen on July 05, 2009, 03:03:52 PM Custom Character Select? Today, I started making CSPs for every single textures I have. And it's the first time I use custom CSP and stuff. My game froze 4 times out of 5, right after picking a stage. All the CSP worked well though. What's wrong? Is it my SD card? (I never safely remove it, lmao) Title: Re: Question regarding freezing. Post by: Segab on July 15, 2009, 05:32:31 PM Please? Anyone know?
is it because of my SD card? is it because my files are too big are something? (cupASH took them normally so I don't think that's the problem) is it the version of the code I'm using? (I'm using the last one) Title: Re: Question regarding freezing. Post by: Hakumen on July 15, 2009, 05:43:37 PM 3.2A gets battle portraits to crash.
Title: Re: Question regarding freezing. Post by: mnsg on July 15, 2009, 06:13:26 PM Unless you want to do music hacks, I recommend sticking with File Replacement v2.1a. If your Wii is NTSC, you should be good with that code.
As a matter of fact, I have the code posted on a post that I've done. http://kittycorp.freecp.net/index.php?topic=5.msg3984#msg3984 (http://kittycorp.freecp.net/index.php?topic=5.msg3984#msg3984) Title: Re: Question regarding freezing.
