Title: lz77ex is being dumb Post by: Double D. on March 08, 2010, 01:40:45 PM It normally works fine recently its been acting up...now, when I drag my .PCS file into it..it convertes it and its the correct size that a .PAC should be for that particular character, but when I try to change the file extension type to .PAC from .PCS.OUT, it doesn't change it at all...it stays an .OUT file and the .PAC I typed in just becomes a part of the file name...ie :"MasklessMetaKnight.pac" although once you type in .PAC it should disappear and turn the file extension type to .PAC, it doesn't...it stays a stupid .OUT file. Something wrong with my lz77ex? I tried this with 3 different ones on my PC and still the same thing...

Title: Re: lz77ex is being dumb Post by: mnsg on March 08, 2010, 03:13:57 PM Check the compression status of the file. If it reads LZ77, then it's compressed. To decompress the file, set the compression status to None.
