Title: Texture and model problem
Post by: Mudkip97 on August 24, 2013, 07:16:40 AM
So I created 3 models of a cylinder, sphere and cone on 3DS Max and exported them to a DAE format. After that I exported them to a mdl0 format.

This is where the problem starts. Unlike other model like a block or stair these three model have no folders called "Textures". How am I suppose to add textures now?

Clicking and dragging them. However, if you're creating a new model, you have to UV map them and that's something I'm still learning on (aka I don't know how to UV map yet since official models already did them for me)

Clicking and dragging them where? Plus I made the cylinder and sphere out of the already made one out for me.

You click and drag a texture from your pictures and you release over your model....

Open up the directory where your desired pictures are stored, click on the image file of the texture and drag it to the 3d model in 3DS Max.
