Title: No matter what I try I can't get texture hacks to work
Post by: LukasLukas on August 31, 2013, 11:33:46 AM
Hopefully someone here can reply to me, all the youtube videos are years old.
I'l break down all my files to you
(on a 2GB san disk SD card)
The SD card is named 'WII SD CARD'
apps>Gecko1931>boot.elf, icon.png, meta.xml

private>wii>app, data, title, loc.bak, loc.dat
^>app>RSBE>pf>fighter>mario>FitMario00.pac, FitMario.pcs

I have other random files under data and title, what are those for? I'm afraid to delete them but I don't know what they do...

Thanks, also private and apps are both on the root folder and branch off from there.
I used commas to separate folders or files in the same folder.

You don't seem to have a RSBE01.gct File in the Codes folder... You need to get one with the File Patch Code in it...

Which file is the codes folder?
Where can I find that file?

I can't really link you to anywhere due to 3DS Limitations, but I can direct you to the resources page on the top of the page. You should find the File Patch Code in there, and maybe you should learn to use Code Manager for future reference.

I understand
I have the code manager and I know how to use it, but it didn't seem like the codes it used were for textures, and thats all I want

Okay I used code manager to save the patch as a GTC and export to the codes folder in the root of the SD card
