Title: Texture Transparency in BrawlBox. I need help, BADLY.
Post by: Velen on March 13, 2010, 10:10:30 PM
Being able to make a character semi-transparent is key to the texture I am trying to do right now. Is it possible to make the textures semi-transparent, and in consequence, make the character themselves semi-transparent?

I am modifying the textures in Photoshop, just to clarify.

Certain textures can be made semi-transparent, not all.

Refer to this to know which.

Not too many characters can be transparent just by making the texture parts transparent.  So far, only Ganondorf can be 99% transparent through texture editing; his eye base can't be transparent, due to being in RGB565 format.

Also, a lot of body textures tend to be in either RGB565 format or CMPR format.  CMPR textures only accept one transparent color, while RGB565 textures accept none.
