Title: A challenge I thought of
Post by: kadapunny on October 02, 2013, 03:04:51 PM
For quite a long time, this community has been working on making their super smash bros brawl games better. However, there is always more to do. Things like working on online multiplayer, duplicating characters, and other such. However, why not make a game of our own? A game to truly embrace what we want. A game similar to MUGEN, however it'd be 3d. To add more to the challenge, what if we tried to get it on the Wii, or the 3ds? It could have a good amount of potential. Features could be in the game like a boss mode, where people's own made bosses could randomly appear to battle you. What about our own story mode? How about an easy way to make characters, adn uploading them to the site? What if these could be linked to online mode, and anyone could play as anything, and it would be unpredictable who you could face? Come on, the human mind has unlimited potential, and sticking to editing a game... Why not make our own?

Same idea, actually. I think some of the Project M people are in there too.

2:

EF-12 is getting an English Patch soon. Making a Smash Styled game in that should be pie.

Have at it.

in fact i know some ppl who is working on a SSB engine but the project is still unsure if it get finished since its very early alpha version
and they needing a good animetion converter from chr0 to 3ds max
but for now the project is on hold until a good converter is made since the right now released converter is made for unity game engine mainly and they using a other game engine i think they used source engine since that engine got mod friendly Games
and that SSB engine is meant to be modded as much as mugen
so we can end up having 1000 charaters with over 9000 alt. models for each
and its going to be in 3d with 3d models&animetions so we can port our mods from here to that ssb engine

but i have thought about the same ever since Melee Texture modding was started
but i know why ppl not have made it yet cuz 3d game coding is hard
and its still hard to make a good smash bros game if just 2d graphics (or will we possible already have got a 2d Smash bros that is just like mugen but for smash game)
