Title: My ZSS texture hack freezes at the SSS Post by: PAVGN on March 18, 2010, 02:05:44 PM I need some help, I made a Zero Suit Samus texture hack recently that works fine in the game, But If you have ZSS selected when using this hack, The game freezes at the stage selection screen. I have no idea why this is happening so If anyone can help, I’ll send It to you If I can trust you to not tell anyone what It is, Or send It to anyone else. I want It to be a surprise.

I used Brawlbox to make It, So at first I thought that that was the problem. But then I used ASH to make It and It still froze at the stage selection screen. So I'm not sure how to fix the files If they are corrupted.

Hmm, Perhaps I could use Brawlbox to only make a .pcs then make the .pac using LZ77Ex. Anyway I had a similar freezing problem with Peach, check to make sure the textures are formatted correctly (for example, Peach's body and head textures only accept CMPR). That's what I'd like to know. If I can find that out I might be able to fix It. And I know the texture format is correct because I didn't change the texture format when I made It with Brawlbox and you can't change formats with ASH. Select "None" to completely decompress it. This can be done with any PAC file or BRRES file. This doesn't apply to PCS files though, since they're automatically compressed when saved.
