Title: Do I have too much? Post by: Nebulon on November 07, 2013, 09:08:51 AM My cart is nearly full with only 4 megs left and my game will freeze at random with 4 players, but not 3 or less.Is this because of how many things I have, and if so how can I make it all run smoother. For instance, I have Cbliss, File patch 3.5.3 dual CSS,Extra stages with music.
Is it too much to process? Sometimes going to the item menu will slow down the game or cause a freeze, but that's not consistent. I've found that 2 foxes in play with a Falco will be fine, even 3 foxes, 3 Falcos, 1 Fox and 2 Falcos, but 3 Foxes and a Falco will freeze consistently. I also have a replay on my Wii that I can't get rid of because even going over it freezes the game. Ineed to figure out how to delete that... If I could send someone my cart data for sorting out and fixing I would pay them. Title: Re: Do I have too much? Title: Re: Do I have too much? Post by: Nebulon on November 08, 2013, 12:06:03 AM How do I go about this? I'm sorry, I'm new to some of the terminology.
Title: Re: Do I have too much? Post by: Nebulon on November 10, 2013, 05:11:06 PM I defragged my SD card, but the issues are still there.
Title: Re: Do I have too much? Post by: Ricky (Br3) on November 10, 2013, 05:51:20 PM There's no such thing as too much files, but you might definitely have a bad file that is getting you freezes.
I have a 2GB card that is less than 2MB away of being full, and everything, from stages, characters, cBliss to menus, runs smoothly. Title: Re: Do I have too much? Post by: Albafika on November 11, 2013, 06:03:00 AM Try formatting the SD then reinserting said backup in it.

Title: Re: Do I have too much? Post by: Albafika on November 11, 2013, 12:08:54 PM What's the sqid? Fixed. <_>Title: Re: Do I have too much? Post by: Nebulon on November 12, 2013, 04:45:20 PM Is there a proper way to back up the SD card? If I copy and paste it onto the desktop of my PC, and then format the card, then reinsert it, nothing is fixed... :/ My Wii was one of the original... do I need a newer Wii? Were there any notable differences in like... I don't know, processing power? I'm not too knowledgeable, I just don't understand why I can't run what I've got.
Title: Re: Do I have too much? Post by: Makarew on November 14, 2013, 04:29:52 PM Could be a corrupted character or stage. Does it freeze right before a character with a specific costume comes onto the screen? Does it freezes when a specific stage is chosen?
Title: Re: Do I have too much? Post by: BabyLuigiOnFire on November 14, 2013, 09:38:09 PM Sounds like you certainly got a bad file in there. Maybe you got a corrupted common.pac
Title: Re: Do I have too much? Post by: Nebulon on November 16, 2013, 09:29:31 AM :) It was that I had an old 3.5.3. The new one doesn't have this issue. We're all good now. Thanks everyone for trying. Thread=Done.
