Title: How do you edit skins that won't open right?
Post by: Nebulon on November 12, 2013, 04:47:43 PM
I'm trying to make some Knuckles over Ness texture hacks, however when I go to open the .pcs or the .pac, it gives me a sort of error message, which I get sometimes, but then I get a second sort of list of different things referring to nodes and whatnot.

I'm unable to quote the message at the time, but I feel other people have run into this before. The skins for the psa have custom texture submissions, so I know there must be a way around this. Can anyone help me?

I was on a a different computer. Now I can. :)

"1 error has been found in the model fitNess00. This error will be fixed when you save: -There were 427 weights in node mix."

"System NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of object.
at BrawlLib.SSBBResourceNodes MDL0GroupNodeParse(MDL0Node model)----"

I can't copy these actually so I typed them out, but the second screen quote continues with similar "SSBBresourceNodes" being an issue.

I tried saving the thing because the first message said that saving would fix the errors, but that wasn't an option and it's not loading any normal model/texture extensions.

Which pac or pcs gives you the error? The modded one or the default one?
