Title: Smash Stack Method and Freezing Post by: Dinorawr2121 on January 12, 2014, 03:23:12 PM I've been using the Smash Stack method for quite some time 2009-2011. I stopped playing for a while and returned to using it. I deleted everything off my SD and started again and it was working fine. That is until today when it would freeze again.
I would freeze either during the character select screen or the stage select screen. I'm not sure what the problem can be. I do receive vault data when I load my Wii with the SD card in it (which might be the problem). I haven't added anything new and really want to play with my old textures. And yet, it causes the Stage Selection Screen to crash...

Would I be able to load with the file in the st folder first, then take out my SD card at the character select screen, and proceed to delete the file in an attempt to play with textures?
Title: Re: Smash Stack Method and Freezing Post by: ABloodyCanadian on January 12, 2014, 11:19:08 PM You simply would have to run SmashStack normally, then when Brawl Starts Loading again with hacks, you should be safe to go into the st folder, and rename that folder so it won't be read in game. You will need it if you want to load via SmashStack. I do think there is a code that prevents the crashing though...
