When I tried to use them it froze, it even froze when I tried it with the rels... Anybody know how to do this or if it's possible? Any help appreciated.
Using the rels is bad, don't try to use the rels.
There are a few vBrawl compatible versions found in the vault under the name of 'Balanced', I believe Angel-save is the one who did them, they're probably your best bet.
Roy and Mewtwo work fine for me.
Unfortunately, Project M's movesets were designed to only to be compatible with Project M. So cross platforming them to vBrawl isn't possible...
@kitsu-chan Why is using the rels bad? I already used them.
I tried using one and it caused a crash. Using the PSAs themselves should be fine, for some characters at least.
I managed to get P:M Snake working in vBrawl. The only issues were his Side Special not working properly without some editing and his Up Smash being unable to angle.
If anyone wants it, then I'll upload it.
