Hello to all. I've been trying to get a Dr Mario hack's cosmetics working recently, but it was to no avail so far. I made a topic about it earlier which was never replied to. I hope I'm not breaking any rules or whatever by making a new topic instead of bumping the old one. Basically, I want to give him the pills and stuff he had from project M. I used the project M Mario for vbrawl hack on the vault (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=204074 (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=204074)) and tried my hardest to get the cosmetics working. I put all of his doctor costumes in the hack, ignoring the regular Mario costumes, and changed his PSA so that all the "LA57" things or whatever were set at >=0, instead of >=7. The hack itself works fine, but changing the LA 57 or whatever did nothing to change his effects. What am I doing wrong?

if u are going to remove mario with dr.Mario then remove Mario part of the psa

So you mean like remove the things Dr Mario doesn't use, such as the regular fireball effects/textures?

Well, that was able to replace the effects, but it has some major differences/problems, one of them being that the final smash freezes the game.

Also I just realized the variable I changed was LA-Basic [54], not LA 57 or whatever.
EDIT: I just found out the final smash freezing is happening with my hack too, even though it worked fine long ago. Possibly it's something wrong with the new brawlex clone engine. That being said, the hack of yours still had some differences, such as the downair being sort of a stall in midair.
