Title: Restore Beta Elements?? Post by: SUPAHSAWNIK99 on August 13, 2014, 06:22:59 PM Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to create the elements that Sakurai had in mind when developing Brawl? Such as Beta Characters in their original slots (Not using BrawlEx), and Battle Damage on characters, and lost songs? Can anybody find a way to restore Brawl to the way it was originally meant to be played?

The iso only contains the final product without anything else in it, so all the files we can get are already extracted and (that ones we've decoded) have been looked through. If you can find out everything that was excluded from the final release it would be possible to change it to an extend, but BrawlEx would still need to be used. That would be cool though, playing stuff that only the devs played.

Can anybody find a way to restore Brawl to the way it was originally meant to be played? you would have ot use brawlex for the other charcters. some beta character elements (like kirby's hammer flip sid esmash) could be reinserted. others, (like zss grabbing items with teh side b) probably couldnt. the battle damage could be if model changers and psaing are used. the music, i think its on youtube. that can be converted to brstm. the etc stuff (kirby inhaling giga bowser and wario man and super sonic, idley as an assist trophy, etc) could, but it would be difficult. so yes, all, or most, of the beta stuff could actually be restored. Title: Re: Restore Beta Elements?? Post by: Shinobu Nyan! on August 14, 2014, 10:18:18 AM That stuff yes, but what about the stages. Unless the devs have actually described in detail what they were and all the features there's no way we can recreate it. Plus do we know the movesets for the excluded characters? I've never seen any videos or statements on excluded characters and there movesets.

Title: Re: Restore Beta Elements?? Post by: SUPAHSAWNIK99 on August 14, 2014, 10:35:29 AM Ok, here's what I know that was left out:
Link, Captain Falcon, and Meta Knight taking damage. 6 out of the Forbidden 7: Dr. Mario, Roy, Mewtwo, Dixie Kong, Toon Zelda and Toon Sheik. Because I don't think that PRA_MAI is a team of Plusle and Minun. Title: Re: Restore Beta Elements?? Dr Mario and Roy's data were copied from Melee for some reason they where never ment to be playable not sure about Mewtwo though, as Lucario almost didn't make it into Brawl so he was likely on standby incase Lucario couldn't be finished.
