I remember that the melee stages don't need .rel files so I put Aquarium Park over Jungle Japes. It caused the game to crash. So, I think the PACs are causing the game to crash. Can anybody help?

Every stage needs .rel files.

Of course... There is no difference, coding-wise, between the new and returning stages.

Whoever was your source on that info was surely mistaken...
