Title: Super Smash Bros. - Retro ReMIX Post by: UltraN64 on March 20, 2015, 05:46:24 AM Hello everybody!
I am a fairly new user around the forums, I am UltraN64. I have been making personal Brawl hacks for a while now and ever since I saw Project M I wanted to make my own Brawl hack pack designed by retro games, but decided I need help with it ... lots of help. Obviously, Retro ReMIX is going to extremely heavy on the retro material from characters to levels to music. I've been working by myself for the most part of the planning stage but have not come near close to starting, as I have some problems with Smash Bros. Brawl modding. For example, whenever I import a stage over WarioWare Inc. the characters are stuck in an infinite death loop until they run out of stock or time and some other stages which I will explain later on. Some help with this mod would be much appreciated. Stage and character suggestions are welcome to the characters and stages that are listed as [free] in the spoiler stages for their respective topic. However, I would like to note that the franchise must have at least been on a retro Nintendo system ONCE (I define retro as Nintendo 64 / PS1 and prior). For example, Serge from Chrono Cross (PS1) is on the character roster because Chrono Trigger was on the SNES. Characters Stages Subspace Emissary Mode Bosses + Boss Battles Bosses Other SSE Stuff I will admit this is a lot of work, but even some minor help would be much appreciated with this project. Help or support, either way, would be much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this stuff. Have a good day - UltraN64 Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. - Retro ReMIX Post by: windhunter7 on March 20, 2015, 06:50:05 AM Skull Kid(Majora's Mask), the Happy Mask Salesman(Ocarina of Time), and some of the Ocarina of Time bosses(Like Volvagia, for example) would be awesome to include! :)

Okay but did you see that Volvagia was on the list before you posted or what? I mean, it was right there. Rayquaza = Volvagia Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. - Retro ReMIX Post by: windhunter7 on March 20, 2015, 01:52:26 PM Only I meant Vovlagia as a playable character, instead, preferably over Charizard.

Some clarification would be nice next time, considering you did not specify that. My apologies to OP, considering nothing posted thus far has been even slightly helpful. I'll give the PSA a test run after I finishing downloading my Brawl NTSC ISO (since I have a legit PAL version of Brawl).Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. - Retro ReMIX Post by: UltraN64 on May 01, 2015, 06:21:01 AM I am proud to introduce two new characters into Project: Retro ReMIX!
We have everybody's favourite Blue Bomber busting in, it's Mega Man, and he is replacing Snake! For our second character, we have the possessed child from the land of Termina and Hyrule, Skull Kid, and he is replacing Toon Link! I honestly much appreciate the help in thr music department. I'm not that well-versed in music despite having around 923 video game songs. But I can mix together 8-bit medlies (like the Kid Icarus Original Medley and Smash 4 Retro Medley). In any case, welcome to the team, lilggamegenius! I'm still in a slight planning stage in the moment, so you don't have to work on music yet because there are some things I want to work out first with Brawl modding (i.e.: Errors I had with replacing certain stages). If you want a list of songs I would like some help with, just shoot me a PM and I'll send you a list. Thanks for volunteering! - Ultra |
