Title: mixing parts of vertex hacks. Post by: Lockstin on May 09, 2010, 01:26:04 PM okay how do i do this?
i have two textures on ness i did not make, both have vertex hacks, one has an edited head with no backpack, the other is an original ness. i want the vertexed head AND the backpack, how do i do this? is there some way to take the head shape file and put it on the original ness? i tried but the wii froze, pleae help, thank you. If they aren't just export on of the vertices from one of them and export the model of the other and then make a .3ds file and then insert the .3ds file onto the other model.

Export of both it's model and vertice set, use on both das donkey vertex box and swap replace one of them (the one of which you want to keep the texture) and use dasdonkey to put the new set in the model and replace that model. quickly explained Title: Re: mixing parts of vertex hacks. Post by: TheZac268™ on May 09, 2010, 02:10:45 PM (theory) Yea thats pretty much what I stated above just shorter... :(Export of both it's model and vertice set, use on both das donkey vertex box and swap replace one of them (the one of which you want to keep the texture) and use dasdonkey to put the new set in the model and replace that model. quickly explained Title: Re: mixing parts of vertex hacks. Post by: dingo on May 09, 2010, 06:01:36 PM Export one model and both vertex sets.
Open hex editor. Drag and drop all three in. Copy and find vertex set belonging to the model. Copy and paste new vertex over. Replace model. |
