Title: I think I'm just not meant to vertex... Post by: DrPanda on May 09, 2010, 06:12:17 PM I recently found out that you can do vertex edits just using Anim8or, so gave it a go.
I only made minor adjustments to it (just to make it noticable at first), followed all the steps to using Vertex box, then imported the model back into brawlbox. It turned out like this: (http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/6554/70666212.jpg) (http://img534.imageshack.us/i/70666212.jpg/) Did I do something wrong? Or do the powers that be just not want me to vertex? *sighs* Title: Re: I think I'm just not meant to vertex... Are you only using anim8or to do it? Yeah, Thezac268 said that it would work with just Anim8or seeing as he did all his on it.Perhaps its a problem with the version I'm using (0.97d preview)? Title: Re: I think I'm just not meant to vertex... Post by: binjovi on May 09, 2010, 07:55:04 PM I'm actually having a very similar problem (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=8011.0) changing Peach into Daisy. Her eyes are giving me that result when I try to change them. I am, however, using Blender to do the editing. I send the .3ds to Anim8or, convert it into a .obj, send that to Blender, change it, export as .obj, put it back into Anim8or, convert it into .3ds again, then insert it into the .mdl0. I did this very same technique with her hair and face, and it worked flawlessly. I've yet to figure out what it is.
You may just be getting unlucky with what you're choosing to edit. Try messing with Peach's hair or face and see if you still have this problem. Title: Re: I think I'm just not meant to vertex... Post by: Chuy on May 09, 2010, 08:01:47 PM It's the preview version i just imported a un-edited vertex on ness and the whole thing went screwy
Title: Re: I think I'm just not meant to vertex... Post by: Miniova on May 10, 2010, 03:50:36 AM I used 3ds max for vertex stuff and whenever I did the anim8or step it always came out looking like that. What I did was skip it. I don't know how to get around it if you are using anim8or or blender though.

Hopefully my crappy computer will support it now since I got anim8or working |
