Title: Japanese Voices via Riivolution? Post by: T-800 on May 11, 2010, 07:18:25 PM Howdy,
I ran across someone at a Brawl tournament over the weekend with a hacked Wii and was shocked to discover he had some Japanese voices on. I inquired how he did it and he explained he used Riivolution, which I'd never heard of until that point. From what I've read it's basically a way more flexible way to get custom data onto games outside of Brawl, which sounds pretty great. My problem is though, where in the world do I go to get the Japanese voices and what do I need to do with them when I get them? I'm a technological idiot, so if this stuff is obvious to everyone else I'm almost sure it's not to me. Thanks for any help! Title: Re: Japanese Voices via Riivolution? Put it in your "sound" folder. Title: Re: Japanese Voices via Riivolution? Post by: T-800 on May 11, 2010, 10:52:57 PM Awesome, thanks!
And to be clear, I have to use Riivolution for this to work right? I can't just use the Gecko File Replacement method, yes? Title: Re: Japanese Voices via Riivolution? Post by: Segtendo on May 12, 2010, 02:59:29 PM Yea, Riivolution is the only way for custom sounds.
