Title: IvanX's poorly made Vertex Thread *Vergil in the works*
Post by: IvanX on May 14, 2010, 12:27:05 AM
Hopefully your not expecting anything that well made.
This will be updated whenever I make something I would consider acceptable, so most of my half-assed work won't be here, unless their requested. >.>

1. OOT Link :link:

Most of your know of Oot's incarnation of Link as the Link that appeared in Melee. I plan to Bring This Link into Brawl Via vertex and texture hacking.
Er...Without further ado.

I like it.
Maybe you could try to make the golden gauntlets and the mirror shield.
and, maybe it's me, but what is actually vertexed?

I actually began the golden gauntlets, I just never bothered to finish the texture on the hand, I'll get to it.
Working on the mirror shield for an alt, costume.

As for whats already done, i've played with the hair slightly (not pictured), vertexed part of his chest strap away, shorted and fattened the master sword, and removed the layer of chainmail link had before.

Wasn't this already done by one of the earlier members, like OizenX or CatGoWoof or someone?

Either way, I think it is coming along nicely. No matter who laid the trail before you, it's always exciting to make your own path!     Good work so far.

Pik started it. His thread died. I think he gave up.

hm? I was making Young Link, not Adult Link. (I didn't give up on him either)

But on another note

This is good so far, I like the sheild.

Just a little preview of Virgil's face.  ;)
