Title: TPL Splitter Doesn't Work!!!!! (Resolved)
Post by: PAVGN on July 14, 2009, 05:18:50 PM
Every time I try to make a new texture for someone who has an indexed image Ash crashes and I get a message saying TPL Splitter has stopped working. Can someone please tell me what's wrong and how to fix It because It's really pissing me off, And I won't be able to make anymore textures that requires an indexed image to be changed If this problem isn't resolved.

It's an issue with Vista (and I think it only applies to GIMP images). (I believe, I've only seen reports of that)

It's a slightly older ASH, but the step2.pl (or whatever it's called) is made to remove the need for tpl slitter.

But it is kinda buggy (it was a patchwork job, I don't really know perl... or what the hell I was doing) so you may end up just having to do it manually. (Manual guide in FAQ / ssbbarc in place of manual hexing)

Wait, What's the latest version of Ash? It happened when I used version 2.3 so I went back to version 2.0 and I got the same problem. The same thing happened to me in stash too.

It's both older and custom modified, but it's roughly 2.2

Ok, What you gave me worked and I can now do characters that require that an indexed image be changed again (Thanks for that), But what am I supposed to do about stage textures that require that an indexed image be changed? Is there a modified version of stash too?

Sorry but nope. I didn't really have any trouble when STASH came out so... I never had a need to make a mod for it. --- But since then I've upgraded to Windows 7 and haven't had that issue on it.
