Title: Transporting Brawl.
Post by: Sennin on June 03, 2010, 03:08:50 PM
It won't let me copy Brawl from the Wii system memory into my SD, so I can put it into my new Wii. How do I go about this?

All it says is I can't Move or Copy. I don't have any more information other than that.

Theres a homebrew app called SaveGame Manager GX that lets you move saves that normally can't be moved. I'll try to find you a link in a sec...

YOU! Did I fall out from your wing?  :oshi:

Anyway, I actually think I saw that in the Homebrew Browser somewhere, along with a LoadGame GX, or something like that. I'll check in a minute. Should I bother with that or will it move to my Wii normally? Loader GX, that is.

Apparently freeze, too. I got it from the Homebrew Browser, but it blurs and then black screen. I'm using the site now. I got the .dol file and the zip file. I have no idea where to put them.

rename the R068.dol that you got from wiibrew and rename it boot.dol. Create a folder called SaveGameManagerGX and put the boot.dol in there. Then put the SaveGameManagerGX folder in the APPS folder on the root of your SD card.

Load it from the Homebrew channel. Done. ;D

No matter what, it ends up freezing and blackening my screen. Is anyone certain you don't need anything else to get it work? I've tried the Browser, I've tried the net, and I can't find a solution.

I don't even know what that is or what it's supposed to do.  *facepalm*

It's okay.  ;D

It's a Custom IOS that is mostly used by USB loaders for compatibility and stuff, but it also allows NAND (wii memory) access.

You probably don't care what it is. Here's a link (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OP5WJAEL).

Download, extract files and put in APPS folder on SD card, then run from Homebrew Channel.

Once it starts choose (I believe it says) IOS38 as your base and finish the rest of the installation.
