Title: Can't get PAC files working, PCS work fine. Post by: originalburch on June 07, 2010, 06:21:21 PM I'm relatively new to Brawl Mods, but I'm learning fast. One thing I still haven't figured out is how to make PAC files work, but I have PCS files working fine. I've read the file placement and naming guides and looked through various other help topics, but none of them mention a difference between PAC and PSC. The topics make them seem interchangeable, but that obviously isn't true (at least in my case).
I'm using Gecko Loader with the latest edition of Brawl+. If anyone can clarify what is different about PACs from PSC, I greatly appreciate it. I'm only posting this because I have searched through the help topics but have not found the answer. Title: Re: Can't get PAC files working, PCS work fine. PAC files are optional for most characters, but are needed for the following characters... Samus Bowser Giga Bowser Zelda Sheik Wario Wario-Man Zero Suit Samus Charizard Squirtle Ivysaur The reason why those characters need their PAC files is due to their transformations. Without the PAC files, you'll end up getting the original textures instead of your custom ones. Also, PAC files are used for various single player game modes, such as the Subspace Emissary.
