Title: Hey guys...I am really in need of some help.
Post by: Ll0yd on June 07, 2010, 09:14:35 PM
So, I've been usually lurking on these boards enjoying brawl plus and all it's modding goodness.  :af:

But then, a few days ago, doing my usual brawl edits and went to go play brawl plus. It started up perfectly, but after a while of being in the CSS the music all of a sudden got really glitchy and started playing really fast. Then all my hacks will be gone. Which made me go like..... :srs:

I don't like asking for help unless I really really really REALLY need it, so I decided to see if I can figure out what the heck was going on. So after a few edits the CSS music was behaving a bit better, but whenever I went to play a match of brawl all of my textures (stage and characters) alongside my music just dies.  :notimp:

But what's really werid is that after the match, some of my edits still work, like the CSPs and the SSS background, with the brawl plus engine. :>.>:

So I tried a whole new clean slate, by getting the manual download for brawl plus and formatting my SD card and started all over again. All I did was put the textures for the stages and characters, and music, yet it still game me the same problem, started a match and all the hacks stop.

If it means anything, I currently have a .gct I with brawl plus codes and the custom css for that really cook dark blue flame swirl.

Do you guys know anything about this problem? I tried looking in the help forums and found nothing really similar to this. I have tried a bunch of things and I'm at wits end. If there is anything I can do to help you help me please let me know. Thanks.

tl;dr: My hacks don't work when I start a match in brawl. CSS music sometimes runs fast and glitchy. Please help.

Hmm... i would say defrag your sd card but formatting it didn't help
But try it anyway then we'll go from there

I tried defragging, no cigar.

It might be my SD card, I'll have to try to find another one and see if that's the case.

If you plug in your SD does it say scan? If so backup your files format/scan and put your files back on
