Neutral Special: Homing Attack
Shadow follows and attacks an enemy. On Ground he jumps higher than Sonic before he does the attack. In Air he stays spins but doesn't move upwards (different to Sonic).

Up Special: Chaos Jump
Shadow uses his chaos power to make a big, fast jump.
Now you have two possibilities:
1: Holding down B: Shadow will use his chaos power as long as you hold B. He will stay in air and fall verry slowly. He also can glide horizontal. This is very slow, too. It's good to recover and you can fly a verry long distance but Shadow is nearly helpless while gliding and much to slow to escape attacks. Shadow will fall disabled when you leave B.
2: Pushing B and leaving it before Shadow starts gliding. Shadow will jump and can move/attack freely. If you press Up B after jumping Shadow will go into gliding state.
Gliding will not end when Shadow touches the ground. He will glide on ground. It's no bug. It's some interesting/funny move.

Shadow has three weapons with him.
1: Machine Gun

You can cycle through them with the D-Pad. Shadow starts with the Machine Gun.
D-Pad left is Grenade Launcher, right is Ray Gun.

1: Shadow uses his Machine Gun. It can contain 11 bullets. If you shot 11 times you have to reload (Side B with no bullets). If you do not use all bullets the you can use the ther one later (You shot 3 times then you have 8 shots left). You can't reload when you have some bullets left. Shadow shoots as long as you hold down B. He will not fall down while shooting in air

Game freezes when you use Final Smash during Hero/Evil Power.
Background knowledge
You always want attacks like Chaos Spear. I've never heared about these attacks before. I completely referred to the game "Shadow The Hedgehog". The one who have the game will know a lot of moves. The only invention I made is the Chaos Jump. There was no other good Recovery Attack.
There are already some Shadow hacks existing but I wasn't satisfied completely with them because a lot of moves from "Shadow The Hedgehog" are missing. In my opinion this is the only true Shadow.
I'm very proud of this character because Up, Side and Down Special are very much work and very complex structured. Every attack has it's own counter (bullets, power...)
"Shadow The Hedgehog" is one of Nintendo's best games ever.

For some reason whenever i choose sonic as a character, its just sonic with shadows moveset and it crashes whenever i use final smash. Am i missing something here?
Read the OP carefully. It says if you use final smash while in Hero/Evil mode the game will Freeze.
I noticed that, though i cant tell if im in hero/evil mode. Does he mean whenever you activate it, or whenever you begin to gain hero/evil points, because if it means in the mode, then thats not the problem, since i crashed without being in it ._<

Does anyone else have this problem? I tested the Final Smash and it should work when you have no special power.
I don't know why the moveset doesn't work. Perhaps it's too big so that it won't work but on my wii it works.
Let's see whether anyone else has this problem.

You have to be in the mode. I'll look at it tomorrow. Surely the problem is that I used a variable in one of the counters which is used in the final Smash and that crashes game. I'll do my best to fix it.

you need to fix a few IMPORTANT THINGS
1.shadow chaos control jump is small and dont go no where if hes going glide make the jump big or at least put it back to the orginal.
2.whats up with the shoes can you put them down a little or to their normal look.
3.plz fix the smash ball thing the whole hero and evil seems cool but i cant use my final smash so the only problem is fix the shoe THE spring jump ^B and how he do a regular jump make it like mastalko shadow jump thank you
Use the vertexed Shadow model. Then there's no reason to complain about how the character itself looks.

You could change the Homing Attack to the Chaos Spear? I guess he could still rise up as if he is doing the homing attack but instead of pulling off the attack, he could fire off a projectile (i.e. the Chaos Spear).
I say you should edit the FS a bit so where he's still invulnerable like Super Sonic, but slow him down a bit and make it so he doesn't do damage on contact. Then Make Chaos Spear and attack you can do WHILE in Super Form. If that's possible, it'd be awesome. and I hear talk of variables....can't you make it so whatever variable for Hero/Evil Points suddenly deplete before going into FS?
ALSO, I've noticed that shadow is considerably slower than sonic in most PSAs, and I kinda frown upon that. I mean, in most games Shadow can EASILY keep up with him. So I'd like it if you could find a way for him to be that fast but sorta balanced in a way in this PSA.

I know that. He's invulnerable until he does the first movement. It's a little problem in training mode.

I will make it this way:
Side taunt will change through weapons. If you use Down Taunt Shadow put away his weapons and changes to chaos attacks. I'll have to find two or three chaos attacks for side B. You van cycle through them with side taunt.
Perhaps yoou could give me one or two further chaos attacks.

I do have an idea, though. kwrk85 has a hack of Shadow's voice, however, it's the David Humphrey Shadow, not the Jason Anthony Griffith Shadow that you hear in Shadow The Hedgehog. Would you be able to make that?

Just go with Humphrey or leave the voice as Sonic's.

Voices aren't required, that's just icing on the cake. I say focus on getting the Technical Stuff out the way first. Then you can start a debate over whether G or J is better for the voice.
AND, I was thinking....Is it possible to make a Model for a Gun for Shadow to ACTUALLY Hold when he shoots? or is that too much?

Actually, the Humphrey Shadow is quite a bit quieter than the Griffith Shadow.

Jump: No problem to make it higher
Runing: I can make it faster in my next version. Then you can choose.
Voice: He's NTSC. I don't hear any of his voices. Perhaps I'll delete it completely. It's really cool. It's always hard to modify voices when I can't hear them. But he is verry cool without voice. The silennt Shadow. No Sonic voice. I'll delete it.
Gun: If I make a gun (perhaps Snake's and Fox'/Falco) I have to use BrawlBox and Shadow should be independent form BrawlBox. I'll think of it. If it looks good I'll try to make it.
Porting Shadow over someone: I don't allow porting him over Yoshi. In SSBM he was one of my favourite characters and I still like him. Ike now is my favourite but Yoshi still should be in Brawl. What about DIDI, Game and Watch or Olimar.
Don't port him the next time. I might make a bigger update.

I wouldn't necessarily call it "balanced", either, but it's definitely not over-powered or broken.
Definately not over-powered. I can easily get my ass kicked around a bit by some Lvl 9s. Though that Chaos Control and Blast come in handy when that happens.

But anyways back on the Shadow Topic, Voice hacks are less priority than the actual Moves Imo. If you can make them for it, that'll be great.

AND FIX THE SONIC PORT OVER DK (not trying to be rude) so we can do sonic vs shadow and it be cool in subspace think bout it and like make a regular set and use taunts to switch around to guns then chaos then super attacks
The Jump I'm not worried about too much and plus I believe Mr.N was fixing it.
And the port doesn't HAVE to be over DK. I mean really. Imo DK > Olimar > Nothing

Both of those Ideas seem a bit overpowered....we want him to be cool. Not Cheap.
Can you not change the final smash for shadow?(psa wise) I have a port of sonic over donkey & I have put this psa on him, but he freeze when you use the final smash.
I'm gonna start wok on the Shadow voice. I need you to have him talk when he activates Chaos Control and Chaos Blast, and if at all possible, getting him to talk when he becomes Hero or Dark would make this epic (that way, I can get him to shout "BEHOLD THE ULTIMATE POWER!" and "DEATH TO ALL WHO OPPOSE ME!!!")
For now have him say,"NOW I'LL SHOW YOU!" when he uses Chaos Blast. or make him go,"EERRRRAAGGGHHHHHH!!" Like Sonic does.

I got an idea. Why don't you try to make it so he basically has 2 movesets. An Agressive movset and a Chaos movset. The aggresive one can be pretty much his current one except with a different Down B (maybe something like a bike?) and the chaos one can be one where he uses all his Chaos powers (think some of mastaklo's moveset like the Side B+Chaos Spear Neutral B+your current Down B).

Anyways that's irrelavant, I agree with Maikito. A proper Grenade Launcher would be awesome. Also, someone should vertex/texture hack the bombs so that they look more like grenades.

If Hero pts > Dark pts. Shadow Chaos Controls to the center of the stage and Rains Chaos Spears Down on the Stage.
if Dark pts > Hero pts, Shadow does an even more powerful Chaos Blast that Does a chunk of Damage and impacts them in the ground.
if Hero pts = Dark pts, Shadow goes Super.

I really liked your shadow based on the "shadow the hedgehog" game... I have that game for gamecube, and I like it a lot ^^
Pretty awesome your hero/evil power thing... I remember to get the power out of nowhere on versus mode, used it, and killed my brother in the gamecube game xD
Shooting is pretty much the basic for him in the game...
I didn't actually try it yet, but did you edit the entry? Because there is a shadow the hedgehog moveset I have (I have many of them: 3 (other than this one) for sonic, 1 for dk, and 1 for ganon), he uses a wario style entrance, using shadow's bike... And since the bike appears in the game, it would still be "shadow the hedgehog "based ^^

Meh, the only weapons i liked were that Gatling, shadow, and chao.
Everything else was extremely weak, or had horrible ammo.

That could be easy, maybe replace Sonic's runtrace with the arrow itself and then shadow could just shoot that.
You sure that down+B does nothing? With the regular Shadow, his down+B charged when you held it and kept pressing and holding it, and then actually used the attack when you just plain down+B. With the older version, it did chaos blast, and it was bigger depending on how many times you kept holding it, but with the current one, it did Chaos Control.

Well after trying this and several other Shadows, I would have to say that this is the best one out there. It's a shame that the Final Smash is unusable due to the glitch, but its a small price to pay for such a great character.

You don't have to worry about the Final Smash glitch. He'll get a new one. It'll be a Chaos Controll and a Stronger CHaos Blast. It won't use any Float Variables and there will be no more problems.

For now I'm in vacation for indefinite time. Now it's nearly one year ago that I've started to learn how make PSA characters. I was working days, weeks and month. Sometimes 8 hours a day. I need a break. Please understand this. You may ask me if you need any help with Smash Attacks but I won't work on own projects for now.

Well I have a suggestion. His down-B move (if you're keeping it the same) needs to be nerfed down. The fact that Shadow will take a lot of damage in battle means that you can spam his Chaos Control, and that really gets annoying.
As for his Final Smash, I would like Chaos Blast. Make it big and powerful with very good knockback. *grins* Me like things that go boom.

Yeah, I don't think that shadow can summon bullets and launch them with his mind.
No gun= Sad Shadow
With gun= Epic Shadow

No not really, I've tried it and it worked. The only problems are No double jump, final smash doesn't work & the Up B doesn't work properly.
Do you know how to edit this through brawlbox, cuz basically if you off the stage its an instant
kill?

I could fix most of these not though BrawlBox but though Smash Attacks.
It doesn't bother me. Frankly, I prefer playing Shadow more than Sonic, and since I hold no dislike for Sonic I have no reason to want to constantly beat the living crap out of him. :P

Well, If you probably already know I have a hack of Shadow over DK with fixes but its not this PSA. Ill try and fix this PSA for Shadow.

Well basicly I use a event called Character Momentum both on the double jump and the Up B. It works easily for the Up B but I had to check on a PSA that had a double jump fix since if you would do it normally then it would make him jump higher on his first jump. One thing I forgot to mention is is when shadow/sonic over DK run's, he starts out slow. This I don't know how to fix but if you could maybe speed up the walking for shadow or his average speed for when he does certain stuff then he would start of normally. And lastly for the Final Smash you would have to change it though PSA but the fixed shadow PSA over DK had that already but it was really rubbish. So what I did is since everyone complains about Chaos Control being too overpowered I decided to use that as the Final Smash.
