Title: Pit/Sora Keyblades always showing

Two of Pits five swords have been vertexed into Keyblades. Is there any way to make it so that only those two swords show? So that his Keyblades are always showing?

Well, I hate to answer a question with a question, but how exactly are the swords defined as different? If they are all seperate polygons than you could delete the ones that arent vertexed. If they are all seperate models, you could replace them with the vertexed model. If they are anything else, tell me so I can try to find a solution.

I noticed it too and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Pit's stance.  Before you attack his sword's are together in the bow and he holds the bow, then as soon as you attack Pit separates the bow and it becomes his two swords.  I don't think you can switch it like that.

Only thing I can think of is making Pit only have his split apart stance, but even then he will still have the bow when he uses neutral b, side b, u-air, and n-air.

Couldn't you just do what Cocopuff said? All five swords look the same... so can't you just replace the other three swords with the sword model that the Keyblade goes over?

It will only look a tiny bit weird is when he uses them as a bow. But it'll still look better then it randomly switching back and forth between keys and swords.
I'd really prefer them to be permanently showing.

Well, since your making sora, you could just take out the Nuetral B move if you do a PSA for him.

Ugh each sword is a polygon that is made to be visible at certain times during certain animations. If you know how to hex bone indexes you can make it some only the 2 keyblades can be seen at all times even on a single texture slot.

Otherwise there's bone visibility in the motion file and polygon removal methods in PSA. I don't have time for any of these but using any of these 3 methods would be really simple.

So you're saying you can't replace the models in BrawlBox? Does it need to be hexing? Because I know nothing about that.

The blades are not models.....they're polygons.......

And if they have the same number of vertices the keyblades can probably be copied over to the other blades by hexing.

Otherwise various other methods are possible <_<

I took out the other sword model and tried to make the 2 key-blades stay put.

I made Sora always have both keyblades out at all times as a single texture on Pit but I'm waiting for the pics to send to Kaze.

Didn't know Hax was trying himself :P

EDIT: I sent him this. Up to him to use for any other version or not. I won't provide any DLs for it either.

It got rid of the swords, but the Keyblade doesn't show up instead. It's just him holding nothing.

Or you can take it out completely.
Maybe make his
*TexPitSwordTrace* fully black.

Yeah that's usually what I do. Then Pits swords look normal when attacking and so do the Keyblades.

I may test that with it sometime but a lot of the sword glows come from various textures and effects. Not just his one sword glow texture.

I got rid of the feathers and most of the blue, but there's still a little bit left... which file is that in? What's the name? I renamed PtcPitIkarosWingFlare and PtcPitFeather. What's the other one?

I wouldn't know but it you got rid of all his graphics in PSA then there shouldn't be anything. Unless it's hardcoded. If it is you can't edit it.

I didn't get rid of all of them. Just those two. I guess that means you don't know which one it is. Dang. Thanks for telling me what to do though, I guess I'll just try each one and hope it's one of them.
