I Just find great remixes of the original and replace any SSBB music I didn't like, unless I found a better version. If I can't fight to it, it get's removed. Oh, and also replaced Brawl modified songs with their original counterparts. (i.e. Reimplemented Port Town's original BGM, His World, etc.)

It's always been my dream to put music I want in games. It's one of the reasons I loved Excite Truck and Phantom Dust so much. The ability of making your own soundtrack is awesome.
At first I thought "I'll just replace songs I just can't fight to." Because, who the hell can fight to the Car Select tune from F-Zero X (what the hell were they thinking?). Now, I'm replacing the majority of the soundtrack entirely and don't leave any songs from the official game on. I put it whatever I feel fits in the stages. Something that actually goes with the stage and environment well. I also restricted myself to NOT putting in any video game music that actually sounds like video game music, I much prefer real bands composing songs (which means I've made exceptions, such as No More Heroes and MadWorld) for the Brawl stages. Although, recently, I feel in love with the soundtrack to the Scott Pilgrim game, and I never even liked chiptune music that much before! So, a few songs from that game made it to my Brawl. Besides that, the majority of my songs are from official bands. Another restriction is techno. With the exception of Lylat Cruise and KittyCorp dance club, I want absolutely no techno in my game. No offense to those who like that genre, but it's really not for me and I think it sounds too generic. I'm currently submitting the majority of my soundtrack thus far. It's 1.22 GB worth of brstms at this point. I'll list a few stages and a song from it; -Final Destination: Take Me Away by Epicot -Battlefield: Attack by 30 Seconds to Mars -Luigi's Mansion: Ghost Town by Shiny Toy Guns -Port Town: M-80 by Papa Roach -Mushroomy Kingdom 1-1/1-2: 3's & 7's/ SickSickSick (both by Queens of the Stone Age) -Norfair: The Gears by Dethklok -Yoshi's Island: Get it Together by The Go! Team -Lylat Cruise: Push by Gameboyz -Fourside: Rooftops by LostProphets -Wario Ware Inc: Hong Kong Garden by Siouxie and the Banshees -Halberd: Starts with One by Shiny Toy Guns And so on. Honestly, the songs I have depend on the stages, so it's hard to say that I specialize in one kind of music (other than Guilty Gear and Blazblue, of course). I guess that I can say that I use lots of video game rock music.

NICE! I can never find music that fits that's stage but I like your choices! To - Victory Badguy It's great u have favorite music you like to listen too, me I love Sonic music all of it the rock, the chiptech, as longs as it isn't 'Live n' Learn' or 'Sonic Heroes' LOL those song are just to cheesy for me. But you should try other music that fits the feeling of the stage, and the game! I love a few of your choices! ^_^ - SSBM - Multi Man Melee 2 This was my third favorite piece of Music from Melee - Guilty Gear - Holy Orders This would go great on a Rebuilt Stage for a Fire Emblem Team Stage - BlazeBlue This piece of music is prefect for Battle Field!! I copied and pasted the official soundtrack list and saved it as a text file and I update it whenever I replace songs. Here's my entire list as of now. All the songs I used are in parenthesis, but if a track already has parentheses in it, look at the one next to it. I also removed all the stages and tracks that I don't have songs for just for this list so you're only looking at the stages and tracks with my custom music.
