Well, I was browsing through my iso's and I realized that within the files, I could find the character voices! With a sasuke project going on, how could I not resist?  :af:
The only downside is that they are in .brstm format...If i was trying to put this in game, would that matter?

Sasuke over marth, naruto over ike, and now they will sound correct. Will you do the Japanese voices or the English ones? For the record, I would prefer japanese.

Well, idk how to hex voices, these are for anyone who wants to do them. It really is up to the hexer to decide which version they want to use.

I can't stand watching the anime in English. Naruto sounds like a damn 7 year old girl. I do have a question though, do these have the original or Shippuden voices?

EDIT: I wouldn't mind Sasuke's english voice he doesn't sound to bad but his japanese voice sounds much more sinister and colder.

Also, any one here familiar with stickmans sound effect guide? I tried emailing him for the "custom sound Pack", but my is a real jerk, so can someone else send it to me?

Do both for each :b it may be time consuming but it'll satisfy all. and that way you don't have to stress over which sound packs to use :D

Hmmm after listening to his English voice and Japanese voice i think you should go with his English voice, the Japanese voice is still better but you can't really rub in a win with him with a Japanese voice (Especially if your opponent does not understand Japanese). Pit is annoying, his voice is annoying and losing to him and having to hear him taunt/celebrate is twice as annoying :P

Thanks a lot but...I cant do this. Too much coding, hexing, and the fact that the new brawl box is totally different from the one used in the tutorial. All i can do is request.

Tell me about it, i just looked at the tutorial  :oshi: there is a heck of a lot of things to do. I know when im beaten  :srs: i think i'll just try and convert all the files to .wav and see if i can request sfx for it.

The Sasuke Announcer voice sounds weird with the Japanese voice over especially compared to the normal Brawl announcer and the custom Naruto announcer ds22 made (I think it was him), would you happen to have one with a less Japanese sounding voice over. If not i'll try searching for one.

Well i found 1 it's the Announcer from the Chunin Exams (The last second during Sasuke's first match with the sound guy when he copied Lee's move)

Ugh im trying sawndz for SFX hacking but i can't get the damm thing working no matter what i try, i've put in all the info (I think) and everything is where it should be but it's not accepting anything :(

Same place as the stickman one just email him preferably the yahoo one, Actually after calming down and carefully following the steps in stickman's guide it's not as overwhelming as it seemed the only issue im having now with Sasuke's Announcer call is the size of the file im getting once i can make it small enough i think i might be able to get it to work.

Damm it turns out that Smashbox is weird on 64bit systems so i think i either selected the wrong file to start with or it was given me the wrong info.

Well, all the brstms are uploaded, and im not making the announcer call. Im simply uploading the brstms. But, i think there are some voices i missed...

ugoo said he started on a announcer call...havnt heard from him in awhile.

Till i can either get my hands on a 32-bit system or find a way to get Smashbox working on my 64-bit system i can't really do much. However if someone can give me all the wave id's for each respective sound especially the announcer call then i still might be able to do them. I tried guessing which sound is which but that led to other issues later on with size and other things.

Ok now i have managed to replace some of his Marth's sfx but it's not replacing the correct one's, i replaced his announcer call but instead it replaced one of his attack sounds with the announcer call. I also managed to find a way to play the sounds in the brsar file (by extracting them). Unfortunately they are extracted in a way that's similar to the Brawlbox file structure instead of the Smashbox file structure :( so now im not really sure what to do because i don't know how Brawlbox lists the info that i need compared to Smashbox.

Well i finally was able to replace the announcer call but it's too long now (This is really irritating) I've shaved of as much as i can without ruining the sound but it's still over by a couple of secs (It's a new sound not that old one i uploaded). So if anyone could find anything that's under 1 minute (preferably 55 secs or less) that would be much appreciated. Till then i'll keep looking for better options or keep trying to shave of more secs.

Well, Olimar doesn't have that many sounds, and they're only for the Pikmin, so I don't think that would work.

The Pikmin death sound could be Rasengan.
Ah well.

If anybody needs the chidori sfx for sasuke, I ripped it from youtube and changed it into .wav format.  No background music at all, just a looped chidori sfx.

K man, that's what we call a bump. Dont post in a topic that hasnt had activity for a week or so~

The voice clips that I ripped were in brstm (all you do is rightl click it in brawlbox and export), the voices ugoo took were from the bsrar, and idk how to rip sounds from that :/
