Finished Stages:

The Gate of Truth
I finally released another stage!

The Gate, or Portal, of Truth from FMA! It's based off of Ed's portal's look in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, not the first series. And of course, it's open for the whole fight.

I don't have a close up picture, but the Truth is sitting down in the middle of the stage. Or rather, a textured and bone edited Pokemon Trainer to look like the Truth
Also, the download includes a Beta Version of the stage with animated vines coming from the gate, representing the hands. I plan on updating this stage in the future, with many hands coming out, animated and looking proper. Right now the animation doesn't look quite right and there's only two vines.

Jungle Japes

Based off the first stage of Donkey Kong Country, it's Jungle Hijinx! I used lighting and parts from Melee's Jungle Japes, textures from N64's Kongo Jungle, and the main model is from Brawl's SSE Jungle! I might make a revamp in the future, the right side of the stage is pretty empty right now.

Target Test Stages 2-5:
  I've finally got the other Target Test stages imported! I may need to do some work on the moving platforms in two of the stages. But all stages are fully playable over Final Destination. Pics:

Brawls here can last a really long time, especially with a CPU. So remember, NEVER do a 99 live battle here... The reasons it's best when Brawling friends is because CPUs take the battle downstairs where KO's require good grabs or combos that can carry them to the gap in the right.


Ice Temple:
Temple gets a new look and feel. This was my 2010 Christmas Present to the vault!  ;D

The pictures tell a lot. The "jail" area can't be walljumped or clung to and on the far right you can be buried in the snow! And yes, it's snowing! This was relatively easy because all the building textures have a bluer version in the same file.


Realm of Illusion:
This is the result of me experimenting with 2D stages. It includes a color-changing-extended (v 2.1) version and a sort of "default" (v 1.1) version.

As I typed this, I just realized why the color changes. This is one side affect of using Brawlwall.
Other side effects of Brawlwall may include nausea, dizziness, the wanting to quit stage making....
Anyway, this side effect actually didn't harm me, and was actually kind of cool.


Tabuu's Cruise:
A stage I made as soon as the idea popped into my mind. I just swapped the ship with Tabuu's stage.

Summers:
I kinda promised this stage to MANSTA8 and all the other Earthbound fans...

I keep my promises. As you can see, I won't be using Delfino Plaza anymore. If I build every building block by block, I can have more freedom to make it more accurate. And that's exactly what I'm going to do! Obviously, still a lot of work to do, but I hope you Earthbound fans can tell what stage this is!

Icicle Mountain:
I've decided to remake the Ice Climbers only stage in Melee: Icicle Mountain. As the title says, the stage is still in its early versions. But before I go into what I still have to do, here's a video:

Well, you can see that it still needs a lot of work, but here's whats going on:
What I'm Currently Doing:
   - Making snow less rapid
   - Giving a more Melee like background
  
What I have to do in the Future:
  - Re-texture to match Melee
   - Make collisions icy where it's necessary
   - Give a little more fog
   - Port to Mushroomy Kingdom (ForOhForError's idea)
What I have done:
  - Imported a base for the stage
   - Added snow
   - Made camera larger (BloodHunter's Idea)
   - Animated the stage
   - Give enough time for characters to spawn
   - Made ladders usable
If possible, I'd greatly appreciate (and give credit to) anyone who has and is willing to give me the Melee textures for Icicle Mountain. Well, that's all I have to say for now. I'll try to update whenever I make more progress.

is the whole stage moving or just the camera? If so how are you doing it.
In addition I like it alot. I think you should make this Ice CLimbers 2.0 stage or something like that.

You should zoom out the camera and maybe make it static so you can see the other platforms. But it's looking good so far. Can't wait for the final result.

@Stuff3, the stage is what's moving, as far as I know you can't animate the camera without freezing. What I did is I imported Final Destination's animation and used it to animate the stage (because it has 9600 frames). When I was applying the collisions, I just attached each collision to the model's only bone.
@BloodHunter, good idea. The stage is kind of small right now. I'm adding that to the things I'll do in the future. Thanks!

You can make new animations in stages, you know.
I suggest using the mushroomy kingdom stage for this, as its camera is perfect for icicle mountain (a large, fixed in place overview).
Maybe make the collisions themselves more like the melee stage? It looks like you just imported the SSE stage.

I made progress! No video yet, but the stage is animated correctly. There's now time in the beginning, and the stage moves slower. CPU's still have no idea what's going on, so maybe I'll take ForOhForError's idea and port it over Mushroomy Kingdom because maybe they'd be used to the moving stage. Also, ForOhForError is right. I don't know what I was thinking because new animations can be made with whatever amount of frames you want. Anyway, now that progress has been made, I can move on to other things. A new video will be up when I get farther.
EDIT: Porting failed. I'll just keep it over Final Destination for now.

I'll work on getting to this. Another reason why I want to get to this is because Mushroomy Kingdom has breakable blocks which were in the original Icicle Mountain. Also, does anyone know where to get the Melee textures (without using an Iso)? Is there a Melee Data Partition? Anyway, as I make progress I'll try to keep updating. A picture gallery will be coming soon!

I edited boundaries earlier, but I'll probably do more corrections later...
Anyway, Icicle Mountain Preview #3 is almost here. I'm working on textures, collisions, and snow. Also, to avoid making another topic in the future I changed this to show all my stages and previews. I'm working on Summers and soon I'll be porting more Target Test stages.

It's surprisingly pretty fun to play on! It's a walk-off stage, of course and the beginning spawns kind of weird but it's still good. Other than whether or not it looks good, I want to ask you if you want the umbrellas able to be fought on.
And as for the small text, that's really cool!

Wow! Summers is looking great, all I would suggest is adding signs and more unbrellas,
I think fighting on them would be nice but fighting wise, the unbrellas might get annoying. So I guess you could do it either way, I don't really mind.

Looks like Delfino Island rotated to me. Come on man, take the Mario Sunshine houses out, and add buildings that look like the ones in Summers.

Those can easily be done with SBB.

But it still, all I think you need to do is reshape (or make) the buildings, shrink the trees, get rid of all things related to Delfino and I think your part is done. After that I will work on texturing it, because I can't do that yet. XD

OK, so I'll shrink the trees, add more beach umbrellas (and if I find a good model for it, chairs),  and add signs. It should be easy, but could take some time. Also, when I'm done, I'll include a version with and without the umbrellas as platforms. As far as taking away the buildings, it should be easy. I already deleted the Star Shrine.

EDIT: I have a few questions involving Summers....
1) Should I get rid of the volcano and the carnival island in the back (I forgot it's name)?
2) Should I get rid of the jail house on the left and all of the wanted posters?
3) Should I get rid of the park benches?

Keep all of them (besides the jail house) because in the texture, I'm making the background island into various areas from Earthbound, and the wanted posters are wanted posters with porky on them, or signs advertising magic cake. I haven't desided yet.

Ok, sound good. I have a few more questions, though....

1) Can the Hotel signs be 2D?

2) Should I resize and animate Pirate Ship into a boat for the stage?

3) The palm trees don't have their own bones assigned to them, so I don't think I can shrink them... Is this OK?

Of course, I have more things I plan on doing with the stage. I'll get more pictures when I get a good amount of progress done.

What you can do is make the trees from Delfino Island invisible, and I can give you these trees that I used on my Kai Plateau stage, check them out.

You should deff have a boat, that takes a big part of Summers.

Hotel signs can be 2D but you can also make 3D ones by using different models.

You need to make most of Delfino Island's stage invisible. Not just the textures, but the models as well.

Let's put them in a pack with the stage. They don't get much downloads alone, and a lot of people hate when music hacks bump textures off the "Newest 10" list.

Anyway, I still have a lot of work to do before I send the stage over to MANSTA8 to be textured. I want to work on the boat, the lighting, the trees, and whatever else comes up. I'm also going to texture what wasn't part of Delfino Plaza myself. And, I want to add a lamppost somewhere on the right (I already know what models to use). I think my next preview will be a video rather than pictures.
And for those following Icicle Mountain, the textures are starting to look good. Summers is currently my main priority.

Yeah....
But, I'm making progress on everything! I ported all of the other Target Test stages over Wifi room and used Static to make them over Final Destination, I got new snow for Icicle Mountain (but now it moves in all directions...), and am making a few touches to Summers before a video comes out. I'll probably have all of these stages featured in one video.
Also, MANSTA8, you might wanna retexture the boat when I finish putting Summers' models together... It looks kind of weird....

Fuk, that's disappointing. Do you have any backups or anything that could help you revert it?, you might even have one left on your SD card.

Do you have any backups or anything that could help you revert it?, you might even have one left on your SD card.

I'm looking for one. Even if I don't find one I won't give up. I'll find a way to fix it....

Flat zone 1 looks pretty cool, also can you PM me summers? You might have changed the material data wrong, and I might be able to fix it as the stage shows up in brawl box.

Flat zone looks pretty good. it would be awesome if you could add the disappearing platforms and the oil spill (i don't care about the falling items, they were kinda annoying lol)

Hmm... now that you mention it... the bones look right in BrawlBox which means.... The animation for the bones is messed up! I found the problem!

I did it, it took a while do to Delfino having so many bones, but the glitch is fixed! The bones are all animated! But before I get a video I have a few things to do:
  • check Add a hotel sign
  • check Patch up a hole
  • Try adding a beach chair and towel

It looks like Summers glitched up again...  :-[ It now freezes upon selection with the "beep of death." MANSTA8, I PM'd you with a file when my wii stopped working, so you can check that out if you want. Meanwhile I'll see what I can do to fix it myself.
NOTES:
  • It goes over Final Destination and has a file size of 3126 KB
  • I've tried it with different characters, so it isn't a character that's freezing
  • There is no .rel tampering with it
  • It freezes on selection of the stage.
  • The game does not freeze on other stages (I think)

It's likely the file size. Try lowering it by deleting some unused textures, or models, or reducing the quality of the textures...

mostly its textures, cause they take alot of memory.

Whoa it's already that size?

That's way too big man for the little progress you have made.

Textures take up A LOT more of the size of a stage than Models do.

I'm sure you got a lot of textures on there still from Delfino Plaza you don't need.

You will need to re-import those, with the same name of course, and make them a smaller size. Don't just replace them, that will cause a freeze.

I'm back with news on my stages!!!  ;D

Summers and all Stages from now on
   Bad news here. Summers has been cancelled. I couldn't fix the glitch even with resizing the textures. I'm keeping the files for this stage in hopes of fixing this stage later. However, I got a lot of stage making experience from this stage, so hopefully my future stages will be better than Summers was. I definitely won't be doing any more stage requests, but I'll consider suggestions.  ;)

   Icicle Mountain Beta Preview 3 is up! New snow model is being used. The snow is now less constant, but goes upward when the stage does. Ladders also can now be used, but the amount of collisions case lag. I'll make it so that every other ladder step can be used.
   The video shows me starting to work on textures, but it doesn't look very good. If anyone wants to try working on the textures while I work on collisions and snow, that would be helpful. If you work on the textures, I'll put your name in the collab if I like what you've done.

Based off the first stage of Donkey Kong Country, it's Jungle Hijinx! I used lighting and parts from Melee's Jungle Japes, textures from N64's Kongo Jungle, and the main model is from Brawl's SSE Jungle! I might make a revamp in the future, the right side of the stage is pretty empty right now.

Sorry for the double post, but I have another update. Firstly, I'm gonna update Jungle Japes with a few fixes sometime soon...

Feel free to. I quit because I couldn't find what was causing the freeze (although I think MANSTA8 is looking into it). Besides, I was still inexperienced at stage hacking when I started making it. If I started over now, I would do it completely differently.

Jungle Hijinx updated! The fog is still there, though... :( Anyway, I'll consider the Battletoads stage, because I'm currently looking for my next stage project. I have one idea I really want to do, but it would take a while to make, and I don't want three big projects...
Also, just a reminder. If anyone is willing to do Icicle Mountain's textures, tell me and I'll PM you the file!
Another thing, I might take another look at Summers' problem while I look for my next stage project.

Well, I'm Back From My Test Run. I only have one thing to say, and it's more along the lines of a critque:

You Should Able Grab The Edge that's located by the two palmtrees.

Other than that, nothing glitchy or buggy to report. I even tried the invisible edge trick and fell to my doom. XD

The Gate, or Portal, of Truth from FMA! It's based off of Ed's portal's look in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, not the first series. And of course, it's open for the whole fight.

I don't have a close up picture, but the Truth is sitting down in the middle of the stage. Or rather, a textured and bone edited Pokemon Trainer to look like the Truth
Also, the download includes a Beta Version of the stage with animated vines coming from the gate, representing the hands. I plan on updating this stage in the future, with many hands coming out, animated and looking proper. Right now the animation doesn't look quite right and there's only two vines.

I keep my promises. As you can see, I won't be using Delfino Plaza anymore. If I build every building block by block, I can have more freedom to make it more accurate. And that's exactly what I'm going to do! Obviously, still a lot of work to do, but I hope you Earthbound fans can tell what stage this is!
I think I can keep procrastinating at making Flat Zone as long as I'm making this. :af:

Nice! Well, I think I figured out how the palm trees are gonna look. They can either be something like this:

This way, the trunk is 3D. However, I feel like this looks weird, so I think I'm going to use 2D trees.
I'm also trying to figure out where the characters are gonna fight. I could just have them fight in front of the hotel, or maybe I could make the stage huge and stretch across the entire beach. I'm also considering a moving stage. Any ideas?
