When I go in-game, click "Group", then "Brawl", then it freezes!
I've tried deleting "fighter" folder and "system" folder(Making a back-up of each of course), but it still freezes even when they were gone so I know it's not the "fighter" or "system" folder because it froze even when they were gone(already stated).

I also tried moving the smashbros_sound.brsar in the root of my SD Card temporarily to see if that caused the freezing...
It still froze.
Btw, I also tried deleting the "info" folder, too(Re: I made a back-up).

So I need help. It was working today at 5:30PM-6:30PM(I was brawling with my friend), but then when I was downloading stuff(CSPs, a PSA, and maybe 1 or 2 vertexures) it froze and I've been trying to fix it since. It started to freeze around 9:30PM and now it's 2:10 AM EST.

Do I need to use the Disable Custom Stages code?
I don't really want to use that code so can we figure something out? Please.

Just in-case, I am using a ASF1nk CSS(Red--using codes).

Hmmm... Just earlier today when I was trying to help you get the FitIkeEntry.pac you said you were using Cloud over Game&Watch. Could the Cloud CSP be effecting this? Although, if you use Riivolution then being rid of the "system" folder would fix it.... Did you recently add a code (to use Cloud)?

No, I didn't add a code recently.
I replaced the Char_bus_tex_lszz...(something like that) with a fresh Char_bus_tex and it still froze.
I tried putting the Cloud in C18 format, black and white format, I didn't use a Cloud CSP temporarily, but it still froze.

It only JUST started to freeze after I put a Gallade CSP that was too oversized, but once I replaced it with a normal green Shiek CSP it froze still. So then this mess started. :>.>:

So, you had an over sized Gallade CSP? Do you think you might have any other over sized CSPs? Wait, are you Gecko or Riivolution?

I just checked and all CSPs are correctly sized.
I am using Riivolution.

I don't think so. If you're Riivolution and it still froze without the system folder, then...
Actually, without the system folder it probably froze because the codes tried to load the Zero Suit CSP. Anyway, I think I recall somebody having freezes because they changed the CSS names/text. Maybe that's a cause.

It may be filesize. Try exporting some of the CSPs and importing them in CMPR format. Don't use the C18 format, takes up too much space

this happened to me before. my Common5.pac got corrupt somehow. i just exported all the CSPs and the SSS icons that i used and put them on a fresh common5.pac, ant everything was fixed

I'm having similar problems. Also using Riivolution. No matter what csp I replace it freezes when I hover above it. Sometimes even when I just click "brawl". I replaced the pictures with clean ones from a fresh common5.pac but it still freezes. It looks like when I use brawlbox to edit any csp it somehow corrupts it. I'm using the right size and everything I know that for sure. This just started happening recently, before I use to replace csp's with no problem.

Well, I think the CSPs might be the problem.

Take a look at the GameWatch CSPs, I changed the format to HD(CI8).
So maybe someone can try a fix.
I'll try putting in stuff from my Common5.pac into a new Common5.pac.

Fixed it.

I replaced the entire sc_selcharacter.pac into a new common5, plus I added some new csps. It worked fine, but now when ever I finish a match and return to the css from the results screen, it freezes after about a second or two...
The problem repeats itself if I restart the wii.

Like I said earlier, export some of your CSPs and then reimport them as CMPR. C18 takes up too much space.

Guys, can someone help me? I use Riivolution to hack Brawl, I can't seem to get a Custom CSS, I have the files and stuff in the right place, but when I go on Brawl, I go on to the CSS but it shows the original one. I tried this with Gecko OS as well, I have the codes, but still nothing..please help.

Oh and btw when I use GeckoOS and select Brawl, it plays the music for like 2-4 seconds then my Wii makes this continuous loud buzzing sound and freezes, can someone please help me fix this problem.
